Accident Aftercare

Felt like a scam – Gave all the indications of a scam. Knew my name and details of a car accident I was in without disclosing how they came to have gotten the information (I had only gone through my insurer). Seem extremely dodgy, they're very pushy and they definitely are just trying to make money off you.
STAY AWAY – This company uses SEO to list above legitimate insurance companies like NRMA and AAMI and won't disclose that they aren't your company. They'll try to take your details and pass you off to some dodgy repairer for a commission. Stay as far away as possible.
SCAMMERS - BE CAREFUL! THEY ARE NOT NRMA, AAMI, RACV – Don't be surprised if you Google search your reputable insurance company like NRMA, AAMI...And Accidents Aftercare comes up on top of your google search ! I was a victim of this scam! After being involved in a car accident, I google searched my Car Insurer and ended up calling Accident Aftercare who didn't disclose that they're not my insurer ! As a result, they took the car to their local mechanic and charged the insurance company double the amount ! Rest assured these scammers days are numbered as they are now exposed!

SCAM: Accident Aftercare & Right To Drive – Stay away from these guys! 1. They don't represent any insurers - their game is to rip insurers off with hugely inflated fees that results in significant premium increases to the policyholder. 2. They pretend to be the insurer and 'say the right things' but they have NOTHING to do with any insurers. Ask them to confirm which insurer they specifically represent in your scenario, take down any reference number they provide, and then contact your insurer. You will soon discover, there is no link and the 'claim number' is not issued by the insurer. 3. Your claim can be put at risk by engaging these folks before your insurer. The insurer makes the liability decisions, and also outlines what entitlements can be afforded to you, and if relevant the other party(s). The decisions are a direct reflection of your or the other party(s) insurance policy. 4. The reason they are so fast - they don't have anything to do with the liability decisions and seek to have your car towed to their partners (yes, higher than standard costs) and issue you with their vehicle through Right To Drive at inflated rental prices - which the insurer may not authorise. 5. Look very carefully at the fee schedule at the back of the contract - there is no rental company in Australia that would charge an insurer these rates. 6. YOU are liable for their costs until the insurer pays. 7. I know how it works - because I just got caught out.
