nearly $287 for an air filter and wiper replacement is excessive, particularly given how straightforward these jobs are. The final bill was $672.87.

My advice is to ask for a detailed quote on any additional work and parts before authorising repairs. I won't be using the service again.

Could not fix car told me to take it away after 5 days and charged me 1800 dollars Also did [Content Removed] wiring. Took it to another mechanic who had it back on the road 4 hours cost 500. Unable to access image or video.

globe was expensive so thats the price, I got pulled over for a breath test (passed)but the Officer said my headlight was out on the side lube mobile installed, he said he could defect the car but he said get it sorted out tomorrow. So called Lube mobile and requested Mario who found the globe was installed incorrectly and was hanging out and had broken so Mario went off and purchased a new correct globe and installed it no charge. Lube mobile should wrap Mario in cotton wool as I have found on a few occasions to be an excellent mechanic and could teach the other guy to do his job properly and dont tell porkies to the customer. Charged another $1260 to fit a replacement csc. 2 days later clutch failed again. Wanted another $1260 until I connected consumer affairs. And then they decided to fix my car. Case still on going. I would give zero stars if I could. 12months/20000km warranty means nothing if you supply the parts. If anything fails they just blame the parts supplier for shonky work.

First time using Lube Mobile but wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to recommend them. I drive a European car and it can be expensive to repair. less than that so I agreed to go ahead. A serviceman named Bodhi came out and inspected the car and told me that is not the alternator, but a drive belt that runs the alternator that had shredded and needed to be replaced. He then drove to a parts supplier and purchased the belt and came back and fitted it. The car runs perfectly and the cost was less than half what I had been quoted elsewhere. Couldn't be happier with Bodhi and Lube Mobile. Great service and they come to you!

Thanks Eric for servicing my car today in Speers Point! I’m always happy with Lube Mobile such a convenient service. Not having to drive anywhere makes life so much easier, and it definitely helps save on fuel with diesel prices the way they are these days.

Not sure why some low ratings, probably depends on the area. Use Lube Mobile on & off, never had bad experience. I used them to replace a start motor as an emergency and they completely messed it up. Their warranty won't cover the cost for an expert to fix their mess. I would not recommend their services. "They fix the car" They f your car.

Be careful. Very, very unprofessional. One star is generous These guys came to my house twice, and had my car for 2 full days at their workshop (after also just not turning up for another booking at my house). They charged me a deposit for a part that didnt even fit my car and wouldnt pay the deposit back. They also tried to tell me the issue was something completely different. Very disappointed with Lube Mobile this morning in Melbourne. I called them out just to do a diagnostic test, but ended up being charged a call-out fee plus $200 per hour + GST. Extremely expensive for a simple diagnosis. First time using them and definitely my last time.

Beware of these scammers. Had a young punk [Name Removed] in van 18 test drive my ford territory and blew my gearbox in it costing me $4000. I got charged nearly $500 just for oil change. Rang their office to complain and they said nothing they can do. Well, 9 months on and im starting legal proceedings on Trent. I have recently found information on [Name Removed]. Recently had one of my single can utes serviced for just over $700 which is in my opinion pretty expensive but the work seemed to be decent so I had the same guy do a service on another ute in my fleet which is the exact same Ute and model, less work was done than the first ute but they tried to charge me $1100 for the same service with less work!… Read more

I never received a quote before the works were done, never received updates for any extras just got billed. $400 extra for a service on the exact same car with less work was a joke. No doubt they do decent work but definitely took advantage of me with the pricing and wouldn’t use them again for this price! Definitely feel like I was ripped off here

This was single handedly the worst mechanical experience I have ever experienced the guy knew nothing ive got a head gasket problem and the bloke Adam squeezes my coolant lines which were rock hard and boiling and recommended I “keep driving it and see what happens” then completely overlooked an oil leak and overcharged me from the quote

I called this mobile mechanic for a transmission issue and clearly explained the problem on the phone. Their ad also says they provide same-day service. However, when the mechanic arrived, he said they couldn’t do the transmission service because they didn’t have the required equipment and would need to come back the next day. This made the $97 call-out fee feel like a waste since the issue I mentioned beforehand wasn’t addressed.
