Follow-up · The damage was slight; the awning looked somewhat lopsided when out. Robbie looked at all of the parts that had movement or where there an adjustment was possible and appeared to adjust each one. No repair was needed and the awning is now working well.

I have had my VW camper for 7 years and never had a problem.many small trips and 2 long trips shaking and rumbling through WA. Visited Achtung for a review of some roof securing bolts and they were very obliging and replaced them. rotated passenger seat, a dining room as a table fits in this space, a passenger car as the bench seat is fitted with seat belts, a bed with bedside storage, It is amazingly adaptable and similar in size to a 4X4. I have had my VW T6 SWB for 4 years. We go north every year for 4-5 months and have done 110,000kms so far. It has been life changing and liberating.
In addition, the after sales service is the best I have ever had on any purchase. The camper is guaranteed so that if something is not quite right, Ronny will fix it. Our van had a faulty batch of marine ply, not very faulty but it became less smooth after a few years. All the cupboards were pulled out and replaced. No charge. The pinchweld got a bit of rust. We tried to replace it ourselves but couldn't find the same stuff, we found out later it was imported from Germany. Ronny replaced it all, no charge. There was a slight issue with a weld on the bed. This too was fixed at no charge.
After a few years we asked Achtung to install a lithium battery to replace the old one. We now rarely use the solar blanket. We can camp for 10 days, without driving, as we did at Cape Range National Park (Ningaloo) in 30deg heat by relying on the lithium battery.
The team at Achtung are passionate about the quality, design, standard and after sales service of their campervans. They love them and we do too. I cannot recommend this company more highly. Thank you thankyou, thankyou, Ronny, Tania and all of the Achtung team.
I contacted Achtung for some help regarding a potential issue with the water storage in my van and dropped it in for a check. what we need. The people at Achtung were friendly, helpful, and kept us up to date with progress. Only problem was the delays getting the van out of the docks and into the workshop (due to COVID 19 and lockdowns etc). It was good to be able to choose elements of the interior to make it ours. Looking forward to many road trips!

requested that was not available was a heat exchange style hot water system. Having said this, there was a boiler system within the standard options. We have now driven the van on several trips and eveything works exactly as expected. The detail of the work is very good.

I have only one comment, the comfortable bed/seat lets a lot less storage space than the european style ones. Maybe you can't get comfort and space at the same time. Hopefully a lot of other small storage cupboard are included in this conversion.

Falling in Love – Amazing vehicle conversion. Quality craftsmanship and practicality make this campervan so perfect. So easy to pop the roof and convert the Rock and roll bed I can be packed up in 5 mins. So much storage space that all bits and pieces are out of sight. Love it.

VW Camper Perfection – My T5 LWB 4motion is now a work of Art! Amazing conversion from a blank canvas to luxury and quality interiors. Ronny & Tania set aside time to discuss ideas in the showroom and over the telephone. Plenty of ideas and practical considerations. They were supportive and enthusiastic on colour and decor permutations and even helped with a roofrack. The attention to detail and craftmanship is fantastic.
