Tried to get an older model of oceaneer that will get wet serviced, no longer seals available and no help with plans/ sizes so i can get digital printed ones made, customer service nill. Rude attitude from owner/ manager. I might as well think up a good way to destroy it and post video on youtube for all it’s worth. I can accept it’s old but otherwise good but customer service woefull. Disposable watches at best. Show details
Bought an Adina under ground series watch about 5 years ago. Took it in recently because it was losing time. I was made to feel like a leper because the watch was dirty in their opinion. They adjusted the time, now it is gaining time. I bought this watch because it is Australian made. Would i buy a another Adina watch ? Don't think so Show details
As Brissie-local as they come, Adina does an amazing job at serving up an Aussie option for the watch buyer or collector. What they make is on the level of something like Citizen at the lower priced options or Tag Heuer at the higher end options. Definitely worth buying either one of the new options or seeking out one of the bulletproof vintage… Read more

The lower-price range stainless steel bracelet options are this brand's weakest point. They can be cheap feeling, uncomfortable or pinching at times. They're completely wearable and this is definitely a nitpick. Leather options are advised if youre worried about bracelet feel.
Overall, I would definitely recommend picking one of their many options up.
Have problem with watch talked to man in charge was told don’t believe everything you read, seems applies to own company and blog sites and product site. Appear all sites and outside good review areas and others would seem to be written by same person, following reading noingly written by same persons.
Terrible customer service – My Adina watch suddenly stopped working out of the blue. I emailed them and they said it would be fixed free of charge, so I mailed it to them, only to receive a call from them a week later saying I would be charged for the fix. I appreciate up front honesty and clear communication, you won’t get that with this company. Show details
Bloody awesome – I can't praise these fellas enough, I bought my first Adina in 2012, which is still kicking on, I now own 4, my wife 1 and my daughter 2. They're an Aussie company using Swiss components, not the cheap components from China, designed and assembled in Australia, they're keeping the watch making industry in Australia alive. Fantastic customer service and quality. Show details
Great service – I would like to thank you for the extremely fast turn around for the small hand issue I had recently. The process was easy and again super fast return of my much loved Alvey Adina watch. Good service is hard to find these days and you guys need to be rewarded for yours. Thank you very much. Great company – I've purchased two watches from this company, both are excellent watches. Before making my second purchase, I had a few questions, so I emailed Adina and Grant answered promptly with all the information I requested. I highly recommend this company. Show details
My elderly Mum's Adina watch looks like new again – I sent my Mum's small wrist watch to be repaired by the people at Adina in Brisbane. Although this watch is quite old, they did an excellent job. These days it is difficult to get good quality repairs done so easily. Show details
Great watch. Substandard band – I purchased my Adina Country Master about 3 years ago from. Jeweller in Northam, WA. Great watch, however the watch band is a joke. It catches on everything and then the watch drops to the ground. I have lost track of the amount of times I’ve had it repaired. Never again !!!!!
Fantastic after sales service – I'm very happy with my Adina watches. My Adina Amphibian stopped working after 2.5 years, so it was out of warranty. Adina gave it a complete overhaul at a very special price, their responses via email were quick and Bob, the original managing director phoned me twice and let me know what was happening. Try getting that level of service from a… Read more
larger company. I also have an Adina Countrymaster work watch which I am very happy with. Very high quality watches that are worth much more than what's on the price tags.
Not reliable – I bought one some years back, a quartz titanium Oceaneer, sapphire face. I too thought they were "made in Australia" but how can a little factory in Wooloongabba Brisbane have the technology to work with Titanium metal, produce sapphire crystal, and manufacture hi-tech digital watch movements. The truth is the components are all made overseas,… Read more
Guess where?
The watch failed 2 months after the first battery replacement, which was an ordeal in itself since they almost insisted it had to be pressure tested, Under Water, for an extra $50. I said what happens if it leaks? Oh we'll dry it out blah blah blah. No thanks, it rarely even sees the rain, I'm not a deep sea diver. The fault was an intermittent one. If I bumped the watch it would stop, tapping it again restarted it. Company is disingenuous in their marketing in my opinion and their shop front/factory is a disorderly mess.
Highly recommended and excellent service – I purchased a country master for my father 6 years ago. He is extremely rough with his watches and most don’t last. I decided to buy him Australian made and Adinas prided themselves with durability and comfort. 6 years on he can’t stop raving about how excellent thesaurus watch is. Hasn’t skipped a bit and takes a hiding every day. So went and bought one myself and I can’t believe how comfortable it is. Highly recommended for sure. Show details

Sad experience – Wife wanted a new watch for birthday and I convinced her to get Australian. Have bought 3 watches from Adina at their store in Woolloongabba over past 5 years and all watches are good. Given covid I used on line ordering. Disaster. I also wanted to get on their list and hence sign up. They wanted 12 digit password. When I pointed out that 12… Read more
digits was way more than even my bank and superannuation accounts their response was less than helpful and they clearly did not understand customers are not going to accept 12 digit for this type of sign up. They sent me a "how do you like the watch" email. Watch had not arrived. They failed to send tracking number when they finally did post it. It arrived when I was not home. The tracking name is a completely different company name to Adina. One of their senior people emailed me and gave a lot of excuses and tried to make me feel this mess was my making as they have been in business so long etc Whilst the watches might be good the service thru on line alsng with attitude just is not good. I will buy elsewhere and sadly not Australian.
Wonderful Australian company – Buying Australian made is a very high priority for me - i wanted a mechanical watch & found Adina made a country master underground - the company were able to change the band to a stretch band for me & engraved the watch & were wonderful to deal with . The watch is brilliant - it is just what i wanted & i HIGHLY recommend both the company & the… Read more
watch , they also make battery watches if you prefer. To be able to buy something made by Australians that is good is a blessing & i am happy to say so. Cost was $649 including the engraving but no extra for the stretch band change. Have had it for 3 years now.
