no updates, I had to chase the company myself on 12 October, only to be told there had been delays with materials arriving from Hong Kong. How can an item be advertised as in stock when materials are still required to make it? More importantly, why wasn’t I informed of the delay without having to chase them?
On 13 October, the customer care team confirmed my pendant was completed, yet I was told it wouldn’t be dispatched until 15–16 October. Despite questioning why a finished item couldn’t be sent immediately, I received further explanations about internal team arrangements and dispatch procedures that apparently couldn’t be changed.
Today, 14 October, the company definitively confirmed Friday, 16 October, as the dispatch date, meaning I am now unlikely to receive my pendant until the middle of next week, despite being assured it was already completed.
I requested priority courier delivery at the company’s expense, along with a phone call from management by close of business to confirm arrangements. Neither happened. I followed up again by email and attempted to call at 4:53 pm, only to discover their answering service mailbox was full and unable to accept messages.
The company initially offered to refund the $6.90 postage fee as a goodwill gesture, which I found completely inadequate given the circumstances. I had to specifically request further compensation, after which a 10% refund was offered. Even this does little to address the poor communication, unnecessary delays and lack of accountability.
What frustrates me most is the constant excuses and apparent unwillingness to find a practical solution. I genuinely question whether my pendant was even completed when they claimed it was, given the difficulty in arranging dispatch of an allegedly finished item.
At this point, the repeated explanations and delayed responses feel like delay tactics, allowing the company to stick to its preferred dispatch date while ignoring my requests for an earlier resolution.
This pendant holds significant sentimental value, and I expected far better from a business specialising in meaningful keepsakes.
As of 14 October, I still have no dispatch confirmation, no management phone call and no satisfactory resolution.
Delays can happen, but honest communication, transparency and genuine customer service shouldn’t be this difficult.
Extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this company, particularly if your purchase is sentimental or time-sensitive
