Advantage Salary Packaging

Do Not Use This Service – They reduced my salary packaging without contacting me. When they did contact me, the message read “At your request”. I did not request for my salary packaging to be reduced. You should be making it easy for your clients to use your service. There is nothing client-friendly about your services. I would NEVER recommend your services to anyone. Ever.

Terrible Service – Really bad customer service can't access account, can't activate card. Have emailed many times only response is your card is coming, I have my card but can't activate, no help. I have tried to Call ,calls just drop out no one answers no impressed at all

Minus stars would be more appropriate – I decided to opt for a card to cover fuel and groceries. 2 fortnights in a row the money was deducted from my salary (plus hefty fees) without the card to access this money even BEING SENT to me. I had no card and they deducted the money from my salary including BLOCKING my card. A year later sick on unpaid leave and subsequently another request to prove my expenses and my card gets deleted without any notice. REALLY? I hope employers hear this, this company gives the impression of speculating on getting employee’s money for some time to make dividends from investments on the side, rather than delivering the service they advertise.

Huge Fees – Is the only option where I work for Health Employee Salary packaging, on to of their yearly card/membershipfee, their fees are $5.50 per fortightly pay, per stream of packaging (Everyday living expenses & meal/entertainment card), that means $11 per fortnight for EML to hold my money & earn interest on it. Highway robbery.

Totally useless service – A totally useless service charging exorbitant yearly fees for a basic card that doesn’t even work with many retailers. There customer service staff is non-existent and it can take weeks (if not months) to provide the most basic level support such as issuing a new card. example that caused me an enormous amount ofstress, when I first signed up no one told me you have to spend all the funds off the card before March 31st. otherwise your money is void. I started in my role in January and by March I was still waiting for a the first debit card to be sent out, it took them at least 3 months to send my 1st and only card out meaning I was about to lose all my funds I had just worked for and I had no way of accessing that money. Then I finally got the card I think a day before the cut off period of March 31st so then I had to find a way to spend $2000 quickly with that card was now void and then had the wait another 3 months for another card to be sent During the time, I emailed, called and got no response, no empathy, no resolution, staff could care less. Also you will be calling an Indian offshore site and will be on hold 1-2 hours before you reach someone so don’t ever expect to get any quick resolution or to speak to anyone that can speak english. They can't even provide the most basic level of customer service human empathy and understanding even a monkey could do this job yet they fail on a regular basis to do the most basic of tasks.

Awful – Difficult and unprofessional. Always asking for more proof though you give them all you got. Not worth the effort they take my earned money for fees and provide zero service.

Expensive and difficult – Expensive fees as they charge for the whole 12 months when you are only there for a short period. Delayed payments despite advice they pay a few days behind. Have cancelled.

Evidence required onerous, staff not helpful – My company uses these people, they require all your credit card statements to verify expenses ( I see this as a privacy concern) and they will harass you and reduce your salary sacrifice amount to penalize you if you don’t provide what they request within the limitation period. If you don’t use this for credit card expenses you may be ok, but they claim you need to verify for the ATO, they are not they ATO.

Great product, friendly staff – We recently had a presentation at work regarding salary packaging. I rang to enquire and the person I spoke to on the phone was friendly, and explained it all very clearly. It was easy to set up and I'm saving a lot of money. Would recommend.
