customer service, I was told the funds would be returned to my employer and that I may need to wait 1–2 pay cycles to receive my own wages back. Considering people rely on their pay to cover rent, bills, food, and daily living expenses, this process feels completely unreasonable.

What was even more frustrating was the lack of transparency. I politely asked to view the policy outlining the refund and repayment process, but staff repeatedly stated it was “standard practice” and could not provide any actual policy documentation. For a financial service provider handling people’s wages and salary packaging, customers should absolutely have access to clear written policies regarding delayed payments and returned funds.

The consultants themselves were polite, but overall the process felt poorly managed, unclear, and lacking accountability. I expected far better communication and transparency from a company responsible for managing employee finances.

Be careful. Go with them at your own risk. Never again.

My lease car was declared a total loss in a not at fault accident. The process to finalise the lease, obtain the Total Loss gap cover that I was entitled to and start a new lease was frustrating, tedious and constant follow up calls on my end. It has been 2 months since the accident and still no new car lease.

sent end of March, 2026 no reply. Would NEVER recommend them, have steered friends and colleagues away from them. I have given one star because you cannot give none. The only saving grace is the actual car is great.

 Follow-up  · I was contacted by Maxxia with an explanation that the surge in recent EV requests had slowed them down; but there is always an excuse from them. Registration has been partially paid, still waiting for CTP. Car is a 2024 Outlander PHEV, great to drive with a three year lease.

The consultant I was dealing with, Jordan, was fantastic and very patient with all my questions. He provided me with all the information I requested and response time was superb. I was very impressed with his professionalism at all times. Thank you.

 Follow-up  · Only issue is trying to get through to someone via the MyCarAssist number. Today I waited over 40min, and previous 2 calls the waiting time was 20-30min. You need more staff to handle the enquiries. I also tried to email MyCarAssist, and they responded over a week later. Not good enough when it comes to customer service.

over 6 hrs each time, there customers service just keeps shifting the blame to a third party. I will not be staying with Maxxia very long no salary sacrifice is worth struggling and waiting

long waiting times over the phone. After 2 calls with them and they confirming have corrected their mistake and I would receive my payments in the next days, I am still not able to receive my salary package payments. One month with no money in my account and dealing with these extremely hopeless people and bills to pay and literally no money thanks to their incompetence. One month after the issue is still not resolved.

I have an extremely negative experience with this company. I don't know if there are even any legal compliance for this company to do this and leave me in a terrible economic situation. After dealing with them the many I have and no response about the money they taken from my salary by their mistake, I feel hopeless and feel like my only option left is a legal route.

I extremely recommend staying away from this company and I hope the experience for other customers is not as terrible as it has been for me so far.

escalate this issue and our supervisor will send your paperwork, no paperwork sent that day. Rang back that afternoon to be told "sorry system error and our supervisor is now manually sending through paperwork and you'll receive them by close of business and was told that it was either employer or financial institution causing delays even though it hadn't got to that stage. Guess what, Nothing! I don't know why I applied for this product only to be treated as if it's not really important to provide the service. I know many people in health industry and I'll be sure to let them know how I was treated. Thanks maxxia, you've made this a special experience.

Anthony took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, never once making me feel like any question was silly or too much trouble.

What stood out most was how available and dedicated he was. He answered my calls and messages almost instantly, and there was even a time he took my call at 8pm while having dinner with his family just to make sure all my questions were answered and that I felt reassured moving forward. That level of care and commitment is extremely rare to find.
