Tent is ok sadly the user instructions are vastly lacking which made assembly far harder than it should be there were pieces left and no indication of where they went contacted customer service and got told to look it up on face book which is a bad outlook for a company makes a product and can't even be bothered providing 1. While this tent is waterproof, the roof over the ladder section holds water and in a heavy rain event, the water needs to be manually pushed out from inside. We had to do this throughout the night during heavy rain. Show details

Kings rooftop tent – Not exactly the tent shown in the picture but still a kings tent, this tent is one of my best purchases, I sold an arb tent to buy this and I cannot complain what so ever, the Team down at king’s ravenhall were so good about buying it, really convincing aswell, even though I’ve only used the tent twice in the past couple of months this tent is… Read more ·  1

still great, quality is perfect, sleeps great and is really spacious! I’m not a massive fan of kings products and took a risk with this but it is the best risk I’ve taken and would recommend so everyone else, open the latches and its up, takes 5 minutes to put up, 5 minutes to put down, perfect tent

If you want to be stressed buy this tent – My son purchased this tent but I was involved with its set up. The instructions while slightly difficult to follow allow you to get it on top of the vehicle. It does not explain how to set it up and how to pack it away neatly again . We had great difficulty in this respect. It gave great stress. Do not buy this tent.

Roof top tent qui ne se déplie pas à 100% – Hi, when I deploy the roof tent, it's not flat, and even when I try to move the ladder or something, it's impossible to fit the two floors together, so when we sleep we're slightly bent in half ahahah, I couldn't find anything about this on the internet, the roof tent is second-hand so it's out of warranty and we went to Kings to see if they had… Read more ·  1

an idea of how to fix the problem, obviously they don't know anything! So if anyone could find us a solution, that would be really great! Thanks in advance.

Don't risk being stuck with King's – My roof top tent broke due to wind resistance while driving the third or fourth time I used it - imagine arriving to camp and having a useless tent. I'm confident that the design of uneven tie-down straps are responsible for this (front to back orientation when driving has straps only on one side and the side not strapped down flapped up). Worse… Read more

still was having the warranty claim rejected. They claimed I misused the cover and the horizontal transit straps which they wrote to me were supposed to go over the cover - despite the user manual providing no instructions on this allegedly crucial use requirement. This was also after they had speculated that I damaged the tent when dismounting it - even though I sent photos of the damage while still mounted. Don't buy Kings, don't buy from 4WD Supacentre. They avoid responsibilities to consumers and provide sub-standard products that will leave you stranded.

Kings Tourer Roof Top Tent Headache – I had purchased a tourer roof top tent from kings and only 3 months and used 3 times the travel bag ripped though leading to the tent getting mouldy and floor swelling. Mind you, the build quality is also disgusting. The mounting bars on the bottom of the tent all side ways and not parallel. Predrilled ladder holes do not align. The floor is… Read more

flimsy as could be. The metal is all cut really rough and sharp. I could go on forever with the quality control. Took it back to kings stating the above and I was told it was my fault because I didn't consistently get on my roof multiple times a week to make sure it was still okay. Refund declined. I refused to take it back home with me telling them it is not safe/fit for purpose. I drove another 1.5 hours back home and wrote the kings claims team a formal warning and thankfully claimed my refund. But I'll be damned if I spend $630 AUD on a tent I used only on occasion to be told it was my fault and sent home. Rough day that was...

Great Value For Money – $600 - $700 Its great value for money, had it for 8 years on my hunting truck & used it over 50 times in all weather conditions except snow, the first time I set it up there was a storm and downpour all night, and performed perfect, it's nice and warm in winter & cool in summer; every now & then I give it a little bit of maintenance as some nuts get loose from corrugated roads, (I agree the floor needs to be re-designed) Show details ·  1

Awesome – Have just purchase this tent brand new, great price, have used for two months straight , in heavy rain, wind, and has great ventilation, the flooring inside heard cracking first time we used it and everytime after, but hasn't been a drama, overall it's a real good tent we'll worth it I think easy set up easy to pack up . Great tent for the price, but not perfect – Currently on a long trip around Australia and have been living in our kings tent for 4 months now. We have really put it to the test. It's waterproof, comfortable and well ventilated. Set up is quick and easy, although, not as quick and easy as some of the hard top tents around. Poor quality and getting spare parts is a nightmare – I have this tent and needed replacement part. From the day I called to order the replacement part it's been a nightmare as the team don't know their products. Then the parcel was lost. Very happy – I've had the tent now for a few years, it's done extremely well with heavy rain, high winds and storms. Only fault I had was the annex leaked but i think with a couple more guide ropes on the front will help with that, keeping the zippered floor section off the ground. I did upgrade the mattress and use a mattress topper. great airflow through the tent and great views Show reply

Few issues – We brought our roof top tent in July 2021 along with 6 man annexe have used it about 6 times one was for 2 weeks straight, our cover is super tight and is so hard to get on, the floor creaks everytime we move it's so annoying specially in the middle of the night when you just want to roll over in silents and you can't, the ladder is so hard on… Read more

your feet and the adjustments knobs don't always lock in either but then they get stuck when trying to pull them out to pack up, ladder could also do with a few more holes as the lean it as to be on feel like it's going to snap in half while getting up. Our 6 man annexe had a small hole in it when we got it and the flooring doesn't line up when zipped it doesn't effect the use but when you pay nearly $900 I don't expected problems, I didn't report this problem back because I didn't see why I should waste my time when in the past they didn't want to hear about how a brand new solar panel they had already replaced still wasn't working so basically why waste my time that I don't have to get no way.

While it's still able to use even with the extremely loud base creaking we will try to get what we can out of it and then move on to other brand possible the 23zero (know a few people with them and they haven't had any problem but by the time I can afford another there will probably be new brands out).

I hate writing bad review but when you fork out money people need to know what problems others have and maybe king's can work towards building a roof top tent without all the problems people are having.

Kings Roof Top Tent – Brought our king's roof top tent 3 years ago so time for the review. First thing I had to do was screw marine ply to the base as it's too flimsy. DO NOT TRUST KINGS – Hopeless company to deal with. I saw on Facebook a 2 person rooftop tent and annex combo that I had seen on a video in November 2021 for $695, only to find out that when I went to buy one it was $948. I have spent most of my day negotiating with them to sell it for the advertised price. They refuse to honour their price telling me that the video… Read more

Bent canopy poles – Well, on our last extended trip, we realised 2 bent poles with no explanation or understanding of how... apart for the nuts getting tighter rather than looser and may be twisting the canopy when folding down? Not impressed either with thin flooring, thin mattress, the lack of holes to have the stairs in a suitable position, not a flat setting in all ... will not recommend in all. Show details

Cheaply Made! – We used our tent for two short camping trips and always stored back away under black transit cover. Great tent, highly recommend – Mistakenly posted under the weekender model, just putting this review where i meant it to go, Only had a few set ups of the tent and a weekend away. Made a rack for the Ute tub, mounted the tent and even though instructions may be a bit light on, you tube is your friend. You get what you pay for, but for this unit, you get a lot for what you pay for!!highly recommend. Show details ·  1

Good but not bug proof – Tourer Model with 4 Man Annex (latetest model design at time of review with the covered over ladder section). Not bug proof. To be bug proof a tent needs to be fully enclosed (lining and mesh). Kings Roof Top Tent Hardshell (not the style in picture) – Update: It appears I am to receive a replacement after a couple off calls. So hopefully it was onlt the first tent top that was defective. I purchased the Kings "Kwiky" Roof Top Tent and would like to advise of the following: Speed of delivery was exceptional. I would like to point out that the actual Hard shell of the roof top tent is very… Read more

poorly made in regards to the shape. My top has large gaps at the sides up 4 cm which will allow water to enter the shell. I also have great difficulty in closing the tent due to the fact the shell cover is to short at the front. The whole top section is very poorly made.

February 21st 2019 Update: Kings Supa Centre Kwiky Hard top tent.

Update : I have lodged a claim in regards to the faulty moulded top hardshell and according to the online self help portal I will be receiving a replacement top for my tent. No information was on site to as to when this will happen. My Adventure Kings 'Kwiky' Pop Up Roof Top Tent | Super-Fast Setup arrived days after I placed my order and the freight cost was $168. The hard shell of the tent I received has a very distorted top and is impossible to close using the pull down straps attached to the hard shell as shown on the website. When closing the tent you need a second person to push from the back and have the first person guide the top over the lip of the bottom hard cover to be able to close and use the fasteners to lock down. The hard shell lid is very warped. length wise it is to short and the width is way to wide. The sides of the closed shell have gaps in places of nearly 30mm whock allows rain and dirt etc when driving with the tent closed to enter at the sides and attache to the canvas. I lodged a query on there sellers website and after a eriod of time with no contact I called and was advised that they believe this willnot affect the operation of the tent. But please be aware if you are like myself and was hoping to be able to set up and close this tent byyourself quickly you will be dissapointed as it is difficult to do witht he tent I received. I will update this review in the future to advise of any further Pro's or Con's of my new tent. On a plus note the tent arrived 5 days after placing my order at a cost of $168.00 so delivery time was not to bad. So overall if you are looking my a tent when closed and on top of your car please keep in mind the information I have provided with the tent I received.

Tent arrived 5 days after ordering at a cost of $ $168.79 for deilvery
