Armrest tiny split first day. Each day got worse – I would find little bits and pieces on my carpet every day. A year later it looks like an attack dog mauled them. I don't know what substance is used. But I get the feeling this could be considered a 'consumable' from a company perspective. Swap 'em out (the chairs) when they are done, write them off and get new ones in. If you are working from… Read more

home by choice/forced to, if you want to treat yourself to an upgrade, if you want to buy this as a present for someone close to you-don't. I never earned enough to understand why such simple looking chairs could be sold in the city for prices they were. Now I know. Of course I thought it looked good-and the price was good. Now I know the base level you should pay for a chair. If you can only afford this chair. Buy some temp chair from Bunnings until you have enough money to buy a real chair. 'Gaming chair' could be loophole language that means you aren't meant to use it very often. If you work from home-the armrests won't be your only issue. Comfort levels are not for long term/'extended' use.

Any chair I look for in the future, first thing I would scope out it the arm wrests and if they look like they are made from the same material.

Luckily for anyone reading this, I've found out the product has since been discontinued.

Terrible Gaming Chair, Don't Buy! – I would avoid all gaming chairs and buy proper office chairs for comfort and longevity. I've owned this chair for over 12 months (the warranty period) and the foam in the cushion has collapsed, causing severe lower back pain. for something that costs $269.00 its a complete waste of money. Go to Officeworks and buy something that has a 10 year warranty.
