A few weeks ago,I bought 2 Aerogard Body Odourless ,low irritant on skin,6 hours protection 150g Net cans. I noticed almost immediately that they did not do what they stated. My wife felt the same. We thought they were useless. I diplomatically complained to the Company, on their official form etc. They got back to me wanting photos etc, which I… Read more

gladly supplied. The bottom line was that they had to send details to the relevant people and after not contacting me for a week, they got back to me and said that the problem was most likely with my can. My reply was that was outrageous and advised them that my son, whom I gave the second can to , must have had also had the same problem...a bad can! I did get a Coles $12.00 credit card, which at least was OK.,but nothing was solved Buyer beware! The ONLY way this product will work is if you manage to aim well hit the fly or mozzie with the actual can....because the product itself is useless.

The most useless waste of money ever. They should be fined for telling such lies in the tv ad. The flies can be buzzing around like bees and NOT ONE BIT INTERESTED IN THIS HEAP OF CRAP. Show details

Aerogard Body odourless protection don't waste your money – This would have to be the worst insect protection spray that I have ever purchased and at $12 a can you would expect better result, protection stated for 6 hours didn't even get 30 seconds. struggled to give it a one but that's the only option

Aerogard Body Aerosol spray can. 6 hours protection FALSE – I bought a can recently and it does absolutely nothing! The flys seem to be more attracted to me! Doesn’t repel them for five minutes ! And $11 on sale! Rip off Show details

Fraudulent – The product claims to have "8 hours" of tropical strength. This is the biggest scam going since Joe Biden got elected. Don't use it and don't buy it! Absolute rubbish! It did not keep flies away as described and prescribed on the can. Avoid at all costs Show details

About as effective as rubbing myself with honey – I bought some Aerogard to stop so many flys landing on me while I walk my dog at the park. I’m currently writing this review one handed as the other is being used to repel the flys that the Aerogard did nothing to stop. Despite using a lot of the stuff, it doesn’t deter insects at all. Rubbish product, won’t buy again Show details

Awful Stuff – Whilst this product was easy to apply and worked well against mosquitos, both my husband and I found it caused breathing difficulties when spraying, in my case quite extreme. This is something neither of us have experienced previously with other similar aerosol insect repellents, and our reactions were serious enough for us to not want to ever try… Read more

it again. The thought of a 12 month old baby being exposed to (what we certainly considered) toxicity concerns us greatly. Maybe we got a pump spray from a dud batch? I'd love to hear the thoughts of the company, along with an apology.

Seems to be counterfeit product. Allergic reaction/offers no protection against insect bites at all – Seems to be counterfeit product and does not protect against insect bites at all. I got an allergic reaction. Product seems like its watered down. This is very serious safety issue for consumers and can cause permanent damage and infections from insect bites to peoples skin. Had allergic reaction to this product also, itchy, burning, red bumpy… Read more

skin along with being bitten alive cos it doesn't support its claim. Don't buy and report it to the police. Very upsetting. Seems to be counterfeit product. Allergic reaction/offers no protection against insect bites at all. Watch all the all the lawsuits s coming their way. Report scammers to the police.

Totally ineffective on flies – I bought a bottle of Aerogard Odourless Protection to ward off the little black flies that drive me mad on the golf course. Made absolutely no difference. So l bought a roll-on bottle of Tropical Strength Aerogard. Same result. What exactly are we paying for here? Show details

Aerogard useless on Australian BUSH FLIES – I have used the roll on and spray in the goldfields in summer, the roll on applied with a thick coating on eye brows nose, moustache etc, then on rims of glasses, but the flies seemed to be exactly the same persistence as when using nothing at all. I do remember a time when it did work so I don't know what the problem is. Have they developed… Read more

resistance? It does seem to work with mozzies though. I notice they have removed all reference to flyies and mozzies from the front of the can, and now it just says "odourless protection". It does say "insect repellent" in very fine print right down the bottom and flies are mentioned on the back. But the idea that anyone should expect protection from flies with this product in the Australian bush, is misleading advertising. When you have travelled 7 or 8 hundred km into the out back to do a job you need to have gear that wont let you down so the Aerogard people have lost their credibility as fair dinkum Aussies as far as I'm concerned. they can shove it where the sun dont shine, (maybe it DOES work in Australian Antarctic Territory).

Made absolutely no impact on marchflies – Aeroguard proved completely useless against Marchflies. I'd sprayed twice because I noticed the flies stinging me after the first time. 3rd time I was spraying and a marchfly landed where I'd sprayed twice and stung me. I sprayed directly over it and it didnt budge. Complete waste of money. If I could give a zero I would. Show details

Ineffective against flies – - The labels states it repels against flies, it doesn't! They will land and stay anywhere this is applied. - Don't buy if flies are driving you mad. - It is odourless though and doesn't have the greasiness others do Show details

Useless against flies – I bought this product because the flies were driving me crazy. Followed all the directions on the spray pack and it did nothing . Would not recommend this product to anyone trying to repel flies.

Aerogard pump action – I have given the pump action preference for many years as I think it is better for the environment than aerosol - but it only seems to work for the first few months or so then nothing comes out. I have no idea why but it must have happened at least 6 times that I buy it. Okay if I am using it everyday perhaps but that is not the case. Went to use… Read more

it again today - the container is 1/2 full of repellent yet nothing comes out but a mere trickle. I wash the sprayer but nothing helps, so I will never ever be environmental again & I will always buy aerosol, at least it sprays & covers me as a repellent. Who knows how well it works if you can't spray it in the first place. I tried to find a complaints line but nothing comes up on google so I can't even find an answer so I have no choice but to complain via this outlet. Do not buy aerosol pump action or else you will waste your money!

Low irritant Aerogard - Totally useless – This product is useless against flies and I cannot recommend it. Although it is low irritant and seems to work reasonably well against mosquitoes, flies are not repelled by it. We tried both pressure pack and pump spray, and both were equally ineffective. I guess that's because they both have the same active ingredient, picaridin.

Useless product for flies – I have just spent four days in a country area in Western Australia pestered by common flies. Despite liberally applying this product several times every day, it made no difference as far as I could tell in regard to flies landing on my face and staying there until brushed away. My wife had her own container of the product and she did not have… Read more

any success with it either. Both containers have been consigned to the rubbish bin. It may work for some other types of insect pests but certainly not for the Australian bush fly.

Great product – I live in QLD and work in a suburb near water and that has a bay. Tends to be lots of Mosquitos after rain. I hate the smell of other products as I like to wear perfume to work and hate the mix of bug spray and my fragrance. This product is virtually odourless. Yes there is a slight smell when you spray it on initially but it disappears soon after application and isn't powerful. Keeps the bugs off me all day too Odourless
