Affordable Waterproofing

Terrible – We had a serious waterproofing issue that created a very bad mould problem that caused us to move out of our home. We urgently needed the source of the mould to be waterproofed. I explained all of this to [name removed] and also told him that we had reports from various specialists including an engineer. I offered to send him the reports and he gave me an email address (I later found out that the email he gave me was an old one from a firm that he used to work for). I emphasized how serious the problem was as we had to move out plus we lost all our personal possessions. [name removed] promised to turn up to give us a quote on a Friday morning between 8am and 11am. He did not turn up. I tried calling him numerous times but he did not respond to my phone calls and did not reply to my text messages.

It was only after hiding my phone number, that answered the phone and said he had got caught up and would show up on Tuesday morning between 8 and 10am. You guessed it, he never turned up! We had struggled to find tradespeople prepared to do the job quickly just before Christmas and so when he promised to turn up, we stopped looking. Again, he didn't answer my calls and didn't respond to my texts. Again, it was only after blocking my number, did he answer the call and then he was extremely rude to me on the phone and told me that he had never had any intention of giving me a quote and laughed. I couldn't believe that someone could be so cruel when I had explained to him the desperate situation we were in and that we had lost everything and were living in a motel. He then proceeded to send me vile text messages and I had to block him on my phone. He ended up wasting almost a week of our time as we had called him originally on a Wed to supposedly turn up on the Friday. Each day lost, was added expense and heartache as we had to stay in the motel.
