Very unresponsive from the first encounter
I just called their 131546 number and request the first service and run through of my pool since I just moved into a new house. I was told to leave my number for someone to contact me possibly within a week. When I asked if I can book a time even 2 weeks later, she said she will send them a message and request them to contact me but she can't quarantee they will as they are fairly busy. So my response is how busy can they be if they are that busy even in winter! Totally shocking and very unlike what was said on reviews.

Just tried to get through to Jim's Pool Care to arrange winterising my pool and was on hold for 23 minutes. I gave up at that point. What awful service. If I was a franchisee would I have to hold for this long?

Professional and affordable
Very happy with our service done by Steve in cairns. He went above and beyond! Gave us lots of knowledge on our pool (first pool owners) and bought our pool back to brand new. We will be using him for now on, on a regular service. Thanks again! Can not recommend enough.

Fast and reliable
After calling a couple of local pool shops about my filter who never got back to me I called Jim's. So glad I did Steve our local agent called in that afternoon assessed the job, followed up on parts and due to it being the Easter weekend and him being booked out with the local hotels etc needing his services, Steve turned up Tuesday morning parts at the ready and fixed my pool filters problems.
Will definitely be using Jim's pool services again cheers Steve.

Hi
I need to access someone who can connect repla ement half lead wires to my autochlor salt cell. I have the leads.
I am currently overseas. Our pool was recently cleaned, and now the woman who agreed to look after our property needs to put chlorine in on a regular basis. She is quite busy and I do not want to bother her too much. Would it be possible for you to bring a bottle of chlorine to our property? I will pay for that. Thank you.
do I still need to check the chlorine & P.H. level myself? or is it enough to leave it to our pool man to check monthly?
Hi Gabi,
If you have a regular service, there wouldn't usually be a need to check the chemistry yourself. The exception would be if there were specific reasons to check, like heavy rainfall, especially if there was run-off from the garden. For your info, there are several other tests that should be carried out during a routine service in addition to chlorine and pH. The basic test should include Chlorine, pH, CNA (or Stabiliser), Total Alkalinity. Additional tests could include Calcium, Copper, Phosphates, as well as salt levels and TDS (Total Dissolved Solids).
