Reliable and quick

I had a small job for doors that wouldn't close. Grant turned up promptly, consulted me where necessary, and did the job without fuss.

Very poor service

We were quoted $2200 to fix cracks in wall, replace 6 tiles, realign 2 tilt a doors and garage side door not shutting. We added replacing timber supports on tilt a doors and the price went to $3200. They couldn't do the tilt a doors but the price only went back to $2700. The side door still doesn't shut properly. They gave back $200. The guy who did the job is now off work till the end of November. It has taken us since July to get this far and we need it fixed by Xmas. We got someone else to do the job.

Paid money, they caused excess damage

They didn’t do as quoted. They put nails into electrical wires. They also damaged 65yr old replacement floorboards that I can get anymore. They left at least 50 nails in our driveway. left the house in a shocking state including boards with nails facing up in the lounge and entrance. Also damaged architraves that didn’t need to be removed.

Our Awesome Bathroom Renovation, thanks to Clint Pappas from Donvale

Clint Pappas from Donvale Hire a Hubby, is worth his weight in gold. He is meticulous in his work and his precision shines in the end results. A great communicator who gives so much to his craft. Knowing this was our only bathroom, Clint not only transformed our bathroom, but did it within a short time-frame, which we really appreciated. Our bathroom was last renovated in the 1980's... it was falling apart. We now have a bathroom that is a delight to have a bath in and a shower that works. We would highly recommend Clint to anyone looking for a renovation you can be proud to show your family and friends. Greg & Sandy Simmons, Croydon North, September 2023

Graham Bulless of Manly NSW Hire a hubby is a gem

Graham has done an incredible job of repairing and replacing around my apartment. Great communication, fast efficient kind and goes the extra mile. Couldn’t recommend Graham more highly. Admin staff too have been lovely and super responsive. Trustworthy people where trustworthiness and going the extra mile is rarer than hens teeth sometimes nowadays ! Would always choose Graham in future.

Professional painter

Highly recommend Babak Babakhani who has done an excellent professional job painting the front fence. He replied promptly and kept me informed throughout the process. He worked neatly and cleared up when the job was done.

Thank you for reaching out to Hire A Hubby via Product Review.

Hi Terry

Our franchisees don't work to a set hourly rate as jobs vary depending on cost of materials and the labour involved. The best way to get to quote is to contact Hire A Hubby via the website here: https://hireahubby.com.au/residential/book-a-hubby/

One of our hubbies would be able to pick the job up from here and quote you from the website.

Thanks
Karl

Hello,
I would like someone to hang shelves and art works on my plaster walls if my Victorian home I’d like about 15 holes and plugs inserted. How much do you estimate this will be?
