Do not buy – EDIT: Owner eventually responded and apologised. They had a technical error and did not receive all orders. My purchase has been refunded. Ordered supplies on 3 Feb for a birthday party on 15 Feb but my order has not progressed at all. Sent an enquiry but did not receive any response. Not recommended if you need something for a very important event. No customer service at all. Just raised a dispute to bank. I could have purchased from somewhere else if I have known that they will not send the item. If I can get negative, I will. Ruined the plan. Now, we have to contend with possible food spoilage just because this shop probably is a scam.
All's well that ends well – I took delivery of the Tojiro's Narihira Professional sashimi knife which they advertised as Made in Japan on the website. When the item arrived, it stated Made in China on the box. I'll update this review depending on their response from my request for a full refund. Updated 27/6/24: Owner emailed & apologised for the honest mistake of copying and pasting the supplier's webpage without checking. They've since updated their info. I received a full refund and got to keep the yanagi. I'm glad they restored my confidence as there are a few things I want from their store. I will continue my support based on thsi quick and satsfactory reolution to the issue.
