Cheaper than other websites. Delivery within two days and they took away my old washer. Was very happy with the price and service and installation and removal of old appliance didn't cost any extra.

 Follow-up  · Installation was smooth and only took about 10 minutes, including removing the old machine. Customer service was prompt and responsive but I only dealt with them regarding a question about delivery. Delivery window was 2 hours and they kept my informed of where they were and when they were likely to arrive

customer service I am. For 6 weeks they went back to manufactuer and kept me updated and never accepted the manufactuer excuses untill I got a full refund. As a pensioner I can only say what a great example of a retailer this company is out if warranty but that never stopped them..a fridge should last at least 8 years and this is a business we should all support they are even coming to collect the fridge on saturday. I have never heard or seen another retailer do this ever and you should feel safe because home clearance not only stand by their products they have the customers back. A massive thanks to Nickolas at customer service he is a fair dinkum bloke going above and beyond I am aware a few mangars and higher level staff had to get involved but needless to say you just dont hear stories like mine everyday and they deserve to be praised for their efforts ...thanks again Home Clearance fair dinkum top shelf and looking after the little guy in such a BIG way ...

function of the fridge is impeccable. After 6 weeks with a camping fridge and esky we are delighted with our new fridge.

Delivery was also very reasonably priced and was carried out by 2 young men (Eli and Austin) who coped with our difficult rural property like absolute professionals, prioritising their bosses’ truck, our new fridge and their own safety. We’ve experienced delivery men double their age with far more experience who have not been capable of such integrity. It was hard hot work, they maintained great humour, perfect manners, fastidiously cared for our property, refused our cash tip and stayed to the bitter end; even though we offered to do the connection ourselves they insisted it was no trouble and stayed to make sure it was hooked up and working properly. I will most definitely recommend Home Clearance to everyone I know and we will certainly be repeat customers.

Initially, they offered two alternatives: one was a product from a different brand, which didn’t match the other Smeg items I had purchased, and the other was a damaged oven with visible scratches and marks. Both options were unacceptable, especially since I chose my original product because it was in near-new condition. I then agreed to proceed with a repair, not realizing this would drag out for weeks.

After more than five weeks of waiting, I was informed that the repair would take at least another two weeks—if not longer—depending on parts availability. Their communication throughout this time has been appalling, with emails often going unanswered for days. Even when I asked for a refund to move on from this fiasco, they delayed processing it, claiming the refund couldn’t happen until the damaged oven was collected, which only happens weekly.

This lack of urgency and accountability has been disgusting. I’ve been left without a functioning oven for almost two months, out of pocket to solve their problem, and completely unsupported. Appliances Online’s service is only good when things go as planned—if something goes wrong, they wash their hands of the issue and leave the customer to suffer.

I will never buy from them again and will make sure others know about their shocking service. There are far better options available where the customer is treated with respect and urgency.

buying from Home Clearance great. It is also the fabulous 'Free Delivery' and the promptness of the delivery. I have on some occasions, ordered one day, and the product has been delivered the following day. And I live in rural NSW. Not even Amazon can offer me that! You are kept constantly updated via text message as to when the delivery is coming as well. Fabulous!

Then there are the delivery driver and helpers. I can honestly say, I have never had a bad experience with them. They are so helpful. Buying something like a fridge or washing machine means probably needing to get help with the installation. Well, that's exactly what you get with the Home Clearance delivery staff. Friendly and polite delivery with full installation if you would like help with that. They will also remove all the packaging, as well as take away your old appliances if you wish.

If you are considering an appliance purchase, I strongly recommend that your first stop is the Jome Clearance website. Search through the range of goods available. Look at the imperfections or missing items and weigh up the benefits of the huge discounts you will be offered if buying a particular item. In most cases, the manufacturers warranty still applies on all the items.

fit a matching range hood chimney which I supplied separately, the installer claimed that additional cuts of the ceiling cornicing was required due to the extra width of the new unit, which amounted to about 50mm length, they would charge me an extra 50% of the installation cost to do so. Really feels like Home Clearance is taking advantage by offering a professional install option, then claiming variations in order to fit the products.

Sh*t show of a company. Waited from 8am to 10pm for a delivery and was promised throughout the day that it would be coming. wait and that he tried. When 5 minutes is the difference which is a simple turn around, or wait, especially when I WAS THE LAST DELIVERY FOR THAT DAY! And had been explicit I was working nights the rest of the week and was just going to wake up in the middle of my sleep to receive it. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! No grace, no understanding no empathy. Good product selection, telephone customer support was attentive but scheduling process for delivery/installation proved clunky and inaccurate on the day. Eg, after original 2 hour window had expired with a no show, online system doesn’t advise the customer of any variance but instead just adds another 2 hour window to every passing minute.
