I bought a brand new Aiper Seagull pro. It worked very well and the switch would fail just under 12 months. It was still under warranty. I was provided with another new unit which failed after 13 months. There is no new warranty period on the new unit, as the 2 year warranty applies as from date of purchase of the first unit. I am very disappointed as it has been a great unit. I will be straying away from Aiper products from now on. Show details

After 2 years with the Seagull Pro it just died outside warranty. I have gone with a Dolphin corded 150 due to far improved filtration with nano filters. These battery units just dont have the power to filtrate fine particals with cloth type nano filters. Also the unit delaminated on the surface from average useage 2 times per week never left in… Read more
pool and I run chlorine free pool Naked version copper silver. Battery life degenerated after first year and the filter lid never shut correctly. I saw a review from the USA on this brand and the reviewer there mentioned false positive reviews were generated and he talked about all the issues i had. My neighbours all have corded Dolphins, one leaves it 100% in the pool for 5 years still works perfectly. I purchased 150 Dolphin and while in the pool shop 2 battery units were returned for repair and warrenty one a Dolphin battery and the other a Aiper that blew my mind. My father once said "a poor man pays twice" so true. AIPER quality is poor this is refected in the product model name changes so if your after more power, better flitration, local shop support with 3 to 5 year warranty don't bother with Aiper. The cord actually helps getting the unit to the water level and the cheap hook Apier supllied broke first year. Honest review there is little benifit with battery robot pool cleaners.
The product initially performed to a high standard. Its cordless design eliminated the need for cables in the pool, thereby reducing safety risks for children, and it effectively maintained the pool in a clean condition. However, approximately two weeks after the expiry of the warranty period, the unit failed when the rear wheels seized,… Read more
rendering the product inoperable. Upon contacting Aiper, I was offered either a $30 discount on the purchase of a new unit or the option to purchase a refurbished unit for $400. Given that the original purchase price was $1,200, I considered it reasonable to expect a pool cleaner to operate for significantly longer than two years and found the proposed $30 discount wholly inadequate. After further discussions, Aiper agreed to supply a refurbished replacement unit.
Following the return of the original unit, the refurbished replacement was delivered. Upon charging and placing it in the pool, the unit was found to be defective, as it failed to maintain contact between the front wheels and the pool floor and consequently provided no effective suction. I again contacted Aiper and was advised that the refurbished unit carried no warranty and that any repair would be at my cost. I declined this proposal and, after further correspondence, Aiper agreed to provide a second refurbished replacement.
The second refurbished unit failed immediately upon receipt, as it would not charge. Aiper advised that the unit would require repair. I declined this option due to the anticipated delay, particularly given that it was storm season and I was incurring ongoing costs for professional pool cleaning in the absence of a functioning cleaner. Aiper subsequently supplied a third refurbished unit.
The third unit initially appeared to function, albeit with noticeably reduced suction compared to the original product. However, after approximately two weeks of use, this unit has also failed. It will no longer charge, and the control dial on the unit is excessively loose, indicating a further mechanical fault.
Upon contacting Aiper once more, I was again offered either a $400 refurbished unit or a $30 discount on the purchase of a new product. I categorically refuse to accept another refurbished unit, having lost all confidence in Aiper’s refurbishment process. Likewise, offering a $30 discount on a new $1,200 product is unreasonable and fails to address the repeated failures experienced.
While Aiper’s responsiveness in arranging replacements was initially acceptable, the company’s ongoing failure to provide a durable, functional product or to meaningfully stand behind its goods is unacceptable. Given that my previous, significantly cheaper pool cleaner operated reliably for over five years, I find the overall product quality and post-warranty support provided by Aiper to be wholly unsatisfactory.
bought oct 23, first one stopped working, was replaced second one wont turn on after 6 months and Aiper say its out of warrenty eeven tho its the second one not even 1 year old, wont replace want to fix it but we dont want this product but have been told they will give us 30 dollar discount for a better one lol F off with you Sh#t products. I have had a Aiper seagull pro now for two years two months and paid $1, 000 ( 2 months out of warranty ) and you guessed it . It has now stopped working , It charges but when you turn the switch it does nothing . I phoned Aiper and they said because it’s two months out of warranty I would have to pay a shipping price plus $179.00 for them just… Read more
to have a look at it . Which would make it $200.00 just to tell me the problem . Now if you add it up , it has now cost me $500.00 a year to have my pool cleaned by Aiper, which makes it a very expensive pool cleaning machine . Not to mention every time you charge it it takes three hours and it only cleans for three hours ( if that ) and doesn’t pick up dirt . A pool cleaner for over $1,000 for two years is way to expensive .
Unit has never really worked well, took 2x cleans to cover a small pool. I moved house and found it not covering my 9x4 pool very well. Customer service gave me a whole lot of checks to follow (which I did) but it continued to fail. So I made a time… Read more
lapse video which made me laugh…especially when CS said this was “normal”. So, if it’s normal not to work as advertised, we have a problem! I’d like Aiper to resolve this but not getting anywhere so far.
Follow-up · Well I received my replacement Aiper Seagull Pro...It was a refurbished model but to be frank it looked like new. So, I had high hopes, charged it and left for a wall and floor clean. The result wasn't great so I thought I'd do a like for like time lapse video of a floor clean and you can see the result. So after a bit of back and forward, the… Read more
I have only had the Seagull Pro robot pool vacuum cleaner for 6 months. Firstly, it doesn't stay and clean the big wide 3x3 metre step so I have to clean that myself. The rest of the pool cleans well. In the first 3 months the sticker which tells you what settings to use on the dial came off so I can't see what settings to use, then the silver… Read more
writing on the machine came off and now 6 months the dial is extremely sticky and doesn't turn sometimes. The company has told me to get a silver pen and colour the writing and to get WD40 and put it on the dial. I feel for the money it shouldn't be doing these things upon the first few months!!!
Disappointing Experience with AIPER Products and Support. The item was described incorrectly and did not claim the wall to clean my pool wall Show details
Had now for 12 months , works well at first. Now my catcher basket has rotted out , I assume the chlorine got to it. NOT cover by warranty as it is an “accessory” even though it won’t work without it . The control button jams after a short while and requires force or some kind of lubricants to get it going again. Battery time seems to have… Read more
shortened massively in the 12 months. Now only cleans 70 % of my pool on 1 charge. I assume the battery will be classed as an accessory too. These were close to $1000 when I bought it . Now you can get them new for A lot less. If I had my chance again, I’d avoid knowing the customer service level is low.
Update, repaired under warranty
Only had it for a week. But so far very pleased with it. Show details
Don’t waste your money – We have owned our Seagull pro wireless pool cleaner for about 3 months now. Observations I have made… Loses battery power very quickly, even just doing the bottom of the pool it seems to have very little suction and just flicks the leaves and debris aside. Leaves areas of the pool floor un cleaned. Even taking it out, recharging it and re… Read more
submerging it still results in the same areas being missed.
It seems to waste a lot of time turning 180 degrees and then going backwards partially up the wall only to change direction again when it comes down again. The marketing video shows the machine methodically working its way up and down and back and forth across the pool. It does not do this at all.
The unit itself is heavy. And every single time it has finished cleaning you have to scoop it out and lug it to a charging point. Plus it takes ages to recharge.
The debris basket is very small in comparison to corded models. It’s also not that user friendly to open and close. The clasp is very flimsy and I would say it will break
Does not do pool stairs at all
Aiper Pro – Delivery excellent, build quality looked good. Only 2 pool cleans so far on floor mode then floor/wall mode. Worked perfectly no issues at all. So far looks a great buy for the price. Basically we have pool dust issues no leafs etc so cleans our pool to a high standard. And no mobility issues cleans up to the water level with no problem. Show details

Don’t buy – Goes along on back wheels, doesn’t clean pool. Don’t buy. Show details
Black marks – Aiper seagull pro , cleans my fibreglass pool reasonably well but leaves black marks wherever it repeatedly trys to get traction . So far i haven’t been able to remove the marks. I would go with a pool cleaner that has white not black scrubbers
Aiper Seagull Pro Rocks – I have a rectangular 11m x 3.8m pool with a swim out. I drop the seagull in 3 times a week and it does it stuff, clean the basket and recharge and off you go. I don't have a lot of debris other then dirt and some stray leaves so it copes fine. If I have been away for a week or more it may take 2 or 3 times to clean it all up. I did have an issue… Read more
that was fixed under warranty, they just shipped me a new unit and I shipped my old one back, no fuss, no problems and very easy to deal with.

Affordable and Easy Way to Keep Your Pool Clean – If you’ve always scooped and vacuumed your pool manually, this machine is a genuine game changer. Up until now pool cleaning robots have been tethered with cords and hoses, and very expensive. The Seagull Pro is powered by Li-Ion rechargeable batteries. It comes out of the box ready to use. Flip open the waterproof plug, plug in the charger, and… Read more
wait until the indicator light turns green. Then disconnect the charger, push the waterproof plug back into place, turn it on and drop it into the pool. That’s it. You don’t have to programme in any maps, it simply moves until it bumps into a wall, reorients itself, and it’s off again.
Aiper claim 150 minutes of operation but with my smaller pool I find that 60 minutes is enough for it to cover the entire floor twice, so I pull it out with the included hook and turn it off manually. Then dry off the charging plug with a towel, charge it up and it’s ready to go in an hour. Lift up the rear top of the machine to find the catcher box. Flip open the top, hose it out, and refit it. Not discharging the battery all the way should prolong the life of the unit.
Aiper say this machine can climb and clean the walls, but I’m only interested in doing the floor, so that’s all I use it for. The Seagull Pro seems to be a well designed and made machine, and does what they say it does. Well done Aiper.
OK but not worth the price paid – Tired of setting up pool hose and do manual pool cleaning, searched for battery operated system and decide to try the Aiper, yes it saved me from having to connect the hose or have a permanent hose connected with the normal vacuum systems. The unit does walls but as it does not do steps I was happy to brush walls and steps. The unit does what it… Read more
says it will do but with the following observations. *Positive* Saves having to connect the hose to the skimmer box. Does pick up leaves etc from bottom. *Negative* Paid $1,299.99 within weeks of purchase price dropped to $899, recently as low as $599.99. Does not do steps. Gets confused if not dropped square to the pool side. misses areas of pool walls and floor on my 10x4.5m pool. Limited capacity in waste basket.
