VerifiedFrom my cancelled flight in 2020 from covid I've still not recieved a refund, booked with flight centre they kept saying they were unsuccessful in getting air Asia to refund me and air Asia kept saying contact flight centre even though flight centre never cancelled my flight air Asia did
With me they charge my wife for luggage even it was included in ticket they charge her 1427$ For luggage when I called Booking.com they said pay that and send us receipts we will pay you back when I send receipts to booking.com They said this only receipt nothing mention in the receipt so we can’t refund and talk to the airline get proper invoice airline don’t want to talk to me because I bought tickets from booking.com they all a scammer
Why does Air Asia go to such great lengths to hide itself from its customers? I tried for one week to contact them about an error their rotten booking system created (J261JV on 17/08/2023) when they substituted my name for the name of the intended passenger, and then did not respond to 7 phone messages, 5 emails and three attempts to use their stupid ChatBot Bo to fix the problem. In the end, I lost $AUD1,327 because of their disgusting policies. Their should be banned from operating.
Hi, During the covid period, Air Asia could not offer a refund so they gave me an E- gift voucher known as a Travel voucher. When I initially purchased tickets, I purchased for both husband and I. However when I insert my voucher code, it only covers my ticket and not my husbands ticket. I would like to be able to use this for my husband, or have he money divided so that he could use it also. I cant speak to anyone in Air Asia or the bot, as this is a human problem that needs conversation and answers. Can anyone assist me ?
Mona it’s another Air Asia fraud.They choose when they might honour and it can only be used on some flights that are over 51/2hr flights.I tried to use mine recently and it came up.Not redeemable at moment.Don’t waste your time.Just pay a bit more and fly a different airline.With refunds they say case closed we have refunded to your bank.More fraud.They don’t.Someone short petition for class action against these dishonest fraudulent people.I am currently outside Australia and on my return will seek to go to the Police to lodge a fraud complaint

Same here. Over $2,500 for 4 tickets to Vietnam cancelled by Covid19 now a useless voucher only for Asia X not all planes and only flight components not other fees and taxes. Even if you find one for part of the journey it says already exceeded available voucher on this flight ( was 4 seats apart from us on this flight) … total BS. Want to take legal action but not sure how to get class action happening…
Should I book with airasia to go to new zealand I can’t decide. I have looked through all the reviews and have seen how terrible it is especially the chat robot Bo but it seems so much cheaper. What should I do?
Do not use air Asia theyre the worst airline. I booked them because they were cheap. They ended up charging me 4x because of two system errors and we almost ended up stranded in bangkok airport. Air NZ at least has customer service in a country that cares about fellow human beings. Air Asia have zero care & zero emotion although the issues come from them.

Best to book with an airline you can communicate with. It is very difficult to get any response from Air Asia.
You get what you pay for.Not much other than stress.If they decide to cancel your flight forget about getting a refund like you are supposed to get.They say “Case closed and refund deposited into your bank. NoNo it doesn’t go to your bank.It seems to be going into the Public Bank of Malaysia with your card number as some form of reference.Most non Malaysian people do not have a account there.Advice is forget their pricing and book elsewhere
I am having extreme difficulty changing my flight date through the Air Asia website. I've tried their customer number but there is only an answering service that doesn't return calls. Any suggestions?

No one answering calls. I tried numerous times. Simply doggy company. Some one should complain fair trading Australia against their doggy business parctice. Should baned this airlines to fly to Australia.

There is no one to ring. Air Asia, provides zero call centres and you cannot contact a human for assistance. Everything has to be done online, by logging in and/or using app. I wish you the best of luck......you'll need it! Hope that helps.

Booked flight months ago, got email from you 4pm CHRISTMAS DAY, saying our flight in 48 HRS unscheduled 12hrs later therefore we had to book another airline to get to destination on time as would had missed our connecting flight. Can only talk to useless AVA ROBOT, who said No refund as it doesn't comply with YOUR refund rules no credit either!!! Can you tell WHAT ACTUALLY QUALIFIES, for a refund? I suggest Nothing ever does.. Taking you thieves to court!!

I checked this through "my booking" link you get when you book. It should tell you something along the lines of "if your flight is 'rescheduled' you can request a refund or transfer to another flight regardless of what you paid". Our flight was delayed 8 hours, we then waited 4 hours for our luggage. It was a joke. Try getting your money back if you can and don't use them again would be my advice. Good luck
Yes AirAsia cutting costs by having no customer service. When things go wrong they don't care. Multiple cancellations cost me $2500 in rebooking flights and none refundable hotel cancellations. Never again will I fly AirAsia

Hi Air Asia representatives - my case number for a refund is 115773318. Please can you look it up and then confirm by email that I will receive a full refund. I have been told I will receive the refund by online chat ( real person - Mimie) but I would like to have this in writing please as I have been informed it will take four months.

Hi Kate, I am currently trying to sort out my Travel Credit. In May 2022 all previous "Travel credit" were converted to Air Asia "Travel E Vouchers". I received an email in may saying my exiting Travel Credit had been converted to a "E Voucher" with a 5 year expiry (2027 - AUD$507.00). My issue currently is that when I went to use the Voucher at payment page for a Flight Booking in November is was only registering AUD $296.10..?? Still trying to sort this out with bloody AVA Allstar Chat which is frustrating!! Anyway, do you have a Air Asia Big Member Membership? when you log in and go to "My Account" their is a tab on the left "Credit History". This will detail any past Travel Credit you had. The following may also help: FOR CREDITS:

I have just upgraded my departure flight only on 7, July 2019 and paid the differences. In the previous invoice, I have paid the meal and baggage fees for the return flight on 16, June 2019 but the new invoice that I received for the upgraded did not show up. I would like to know what happened? The meal I purchased showed on the invoice of the return flight, but NOT the baggage that I purchased on a bundle. WHY? I have been contacting the call centre in Australia (81882133), but always showed me "caller busy". Please sort these out.
