Has anyone experienced any issues with this model of TV and does it have reasonable functionality?

I bought a 65" Akai UHDF tv and it works well with cable TV. However, do NOT buy an AKAI tv if you are planning to use a hard drive or other USB device. It is not able to play a single video file without crashing, and I have to turn the power off and on again just to restart the video. I've tried different video formats, different hard drives and the AKAI tv still can't play any of the videos without crashing... it freezes for a minute, then returns to the menu, but you can't play another video without shutting down and restarting. It sucks. All my downloaded videos are useless with this tv.
