Disappointing – Way overpriced and not affective, I feel like I need a lot of product to see any result. I've wanted to try A'kin for years but put off by the price back then even though I have many times paid for expensive shampoo to try. It was on sale so I foolishly bought the 500ml expecting to love it. How disappointing to not like it at all, now I'm just using it occasionally to be rid of it. Won't buy again.

Purchased at Chemist Warehouse Physical Store.

'Curly Girl' approved - can't live without this! – About 18 months ago I started my Curly Girl hair routine journey, and the search for an ‘approved’ leave-in conditioner. I had a few criteria in mind: It needed to be affordable and easily accessible ------------------------------------------------- At a RRP of around $20, the price point was appealing. In time, I worked out that it’s often part of the 40% off promotions at supermarkets, so when it is, I stock up. Being able to grab some from the supermarket, instead of having to order online or go into specialist stores in a massive bonus.

It needed to be gentle, to avoid irritation ------------------------------------------

I have dermatitis and am prone to an itchy scalp and dandruff. My bathroom is filled with partially used hair and skin care products as a result. This product is so gentle, containing natural products and a lack of ingredients known to cause irritation. After using it regularly for over a year, I'm yet to have any irritation. This is a massive win!

Most importantly, it needed to do the job! ------------------------------------------

I was looking for a product that kept my curls hydrated and bouncy. It does that really well. To refresh my curls, I apply it straight to dry hair each morning – focusing on the frizzy bits. It helps keep the curls together, without needing to use water.

I often get compliments on my curls, and I largely attribute to this to the Akin leave in conditioner.

Any downsides? -----------------

I don’t love the packaging. I find it difficult to get the product out of the tube when there’s only a little left, which is mildly annoying. This doesn’t bother me enough to remove a star from my review, because other than that, this product is great. I love the smell – so natural. I hope it’s never discontinued.

Purchased in for $19.95.

Excellent Australian product – As per usual....... One gets to a certain age and all the things we have loved and used forever get discontinued. I recently had to embark on a journey to find a replacement for my beloved leave in hair conditioner. It was a long and winding and expensive process. I thought I had run-out of ideas; Google to the rescue. The search engine gave me a few options. I read the reviews and checked out prices and availability. A'kin was not a brand that I knew well and thought it was worth a try. The product description was straight forward and it was available from Chemist Warehouse at a reduced price. It's ingredients are impressive and it's free from so many unwanted additives, particularly oils, parabens and silicones. I have long gray, sad, limp hair and don't want anything weighing it down. I use a small baby pea size amount and put it through the mid length and ends. The fragrance is hardly noticeable, which is what I prefer. It's not greasy or does it cause fly aways. It does all that it should without the bells and whistles. My hair is soft and manageable. It's still old lady hair but there's no cure for that. Considering the tiny amount I need to use this tube will probably last forever. I'm very satisfied with this product which can also be used as a mask on dry hair too. Search successful.

Loving it – So i have veen using this for around a week now and i love how my haor absorbs this so quickly. I believe its due rhe peotiens that are in it . My hair is bleached and very dry. Best part is this contains no silicones in it which i find is hard to find for a protien containing product.

Not suitable does not match the claim of the product – I have thick, dry fuzzy hair. Was suggested to go with this product in the shop After several use the results are worse my hair became more fuzzy, dry and not mannagable. Maybe it’s just not suitable for me.... won’t recomend.
