Liquid gold in a bottle 11/10
Really good stuff, Ive used it for about a year now and its been amazing for the eczema on my head. When I used anything else, when I washed the product out of my hair it would irritate the rest of my body as it went down my body but moogoo doesnt irritate anything at all! Definitely doesnt make my scalp oily at all, I can literally go two weeks without washing my hair & it still looks as fresh as it was when I washed it considering I have long thick hair! It does make the ends tangled though, but a bit of oil serum on the ends after every wash fixes that! Lasts forever too.
Purchased at Any chemist or health food store for $17.50.
OK shampoo and conditioner but not for long term use
Hey everyone, I've found this shampoo to help me with the itchy scalp, which was irritated by the products I usually bought in PriceAttack, especially it got worsened after Muk and Nak. I purchased MooGoo shampoo and conditioner, at 1st i was so happy, my hair felt like baby hair, so soft. Shampoo itself is very dry on the hair, conditioner is a must. However, after using it for 1 month i discovered the great loss of hair. My hair became so thin like a rats tail. So stopped using it. After using different brand, now my hair is back to normal.
Squeaky Clean and No Itching
For years I have had a sore and itchy scalp. I tried lots of different products, but none has been successful until I stumbled on Moo Goo shampoo and conditioner. It took several washes before it started to lather and cut through the build up I had, but once it did, I have had squeaky clean, fresh hair and a non irritated scalp. I love this product, it lasts ages and it smells nice too, without being over perfumed. One thing I wish for, from an environmental aspect, is improved packaging, I would love it if you could get refills, or if it came as a bar, that is not packaged in plastic that would be good.
Purchased in April 2018 at The Nappy Lady for $18.00.
Started using few months ago, has improved my skin substantionally and cleared up some skin irritations. It's expensive but the product is fantastic. No hesitation in recommending this product as I will be trying other products in their skin care line in future. Very happy.
Best Shampoo and Conditioner for dry itchy scalp
I have found my scalp gets dry and itchy, and my husband has psoriasis. Not sure if it’s getting older or what?
We have tried them all, from supermarket, chemist, hairdresser, no joy.
Until we tried Moo Goo.
It doesn’t lather like normal shampoo, and the conditioner doesn’t feel as smooth as others but my hair and scalp are better than ever.
No, it’s not an immediate fix but after the 3rd of 4th wash, the itchiness has reduced and I have fewer ‘hot spots’.
And I only need wash my hair every 4-5 days.
I don’t know if it is because there is no Sodium Laurel Sulphate or if they have just made the best product ever, but I will continue to buy this!
I recommend it!
I absolutely love the MooGoo range and use a lot of it so thought I would try out the shampoo and conditioner as I wanted a more natural alternative, unfortunately found it extremely drying and made my hair very knotted, really disappointing. It also made my scalp very oily so I’m assuming this is more designed for people with shorter hair with quite severe scalp issues, hopefully they bring out a different type in the future.

Great for itchy scalp
For years, I've been searching for a shampoo that helps combat itchy and smelly scalp. Before using this, I needed to wash my hair everyday and by the end of the day, ended up with an even oilier scalp, itchy and was funky smelling. I tried cheap supermarket brands, organic shampoos, everything.
Finally one day I decided to try this and I'm amazed with the results.
My hair is softer, has more body. Best of all, it doesn't itch or smell anymore. I wash my hair every 2 days now and my hair looks really good.
It feels dry if I don't conditio...
Woohoo shampoo & conditioner
Amazing!!! For the last 2 years I've been suffering with a sore scalp and tchy little bumps on the back of my head. Tried every shampoo on the market ,nothing helped until now , after only one application the itching stopped and the pain has gone. My hair feels so soft . Can't thank you enough x
Will cure your dantruff
I get eczema from stress. This completely cleared it up. About a year ago I think they changed the formula as now the shampoo seems to make your hair feel like steel wool until you heavily condition it. I still will buy as I can’t find anything as good BUT beware if you have dry hair longer then your chin you will use twice as much of the conditioner trying to untangle your hair.
For years I was using a supermarket shampoo which seemed fine until I decided to change to another supermarket shampoo that would give me more moisture. Same brand just different type. A few days after doing this, my scalp became extremely itchy which was very irritating and really getting to me. I decided to give MooGoo Milk Shampoo a go after reading such good reviews. I have only been using Moo Goo Milk Shampoo for 3 weeks now and I am so impressed with it. I no longer have an itchy scalp (such relief) and my hair has never looked better. M...y hair now has a lovely shine and feels so soft. I have long hair, so the look and feel of it has always been important to me and I am just so happy with the results I am getting from the Moo Goo Shampoo. I also use the Moo Goo Cream Conditioner, I have left a review for that too. If you dont want all the nasties in your hair products and you are after a lovely shine, I highly recommend using Moo Goo products.
The first twice I used the shampoo It seemed alright. However after using it a third time within hours my scalp was itching and burning so badly I had to wash my hair again with my old shampoo to calm things. It also made my dandruff worse than ever before. I have Seborrheic Dermatitis and will never use this shampoo again. Sorry Moo Goo.
Another amazing Moo Goo product
I recieved a sample and will be buying both the shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo doesn't lather so it takes a little more time to spread over your hair and scalp. My hair felt amazing even after 3 days which with other shsmpoo I am needing to wash it. The conditioner is good quality and I thought it was very nourishing.
After suffering from major hair fall every autumn over the last 5 years and a constant itchy scalp which has brought me to tears at times I finally decided to give Moo Goo shampoo, conditioner and the scalp cream a go. Previous to this I have tried so many products, some bought in shops and others online, all promising to fix my problem but never doing so. So on Saturday I went to my local chemist who happen to stock Moo Goo products, I was pleasantly surprised when the products were only $1.50 more expensive than the online price and when post...age was taken into consideration actually cheaper. I have really thin, fine hair which I have to wash every day as it is so greasy, I had already washed my hair that day so the first product I tried was the scalp cream, it isn’t the easiest to apply but with a bit of time and effort I managed to apply a thin layer to my scalp, I kid you not, within half an hour the itching seemed to subside, I wasn’t sure if it was the placebo effect as I have had this with other products before only for the itching to return within a couple of days. I woke the next morning and still felt like my scalp wasn’t itchy, I washed and conditioned with the shampoo and conditioner and amazingly my itchy scalp hasn’t returned. Now I have only used the shampoo and conditioner for 4 days and since using the scalp cream the first night I haven’t had to use it again. I am so hopeful Moo Goo is actually going to work long term I could cry. Also my hair fall has stopped, typically my hair sheds for about 10 weeks so this is amazing.
OK product but not for coloured hair. Hit and Miss
I am a former hairdresser/make-up artist and am always trying different products. I left this profession due to increasing allergies. Hence my interest in skin/scalp friendly products. Let me say that I LOVE the Scalp Cream (Husband's bare head!), Udder Cream, Eczema & Psoriasis Cream as well as the deodorant and Milk Wash. I wish I could say the same about the Shampoo and Conditioner...Whilst it cleared up my itchy scalp, it did nothing for the condition of my hair. I looked like a witch! It doesn't lather and almost 'clung' to the hair str...ands rendering them rather 'barb' like. However, I used the shampoo on a friend/client who has short, untreated hair and also suffers from dry, itchy scalp at times. It left her hair shiny and bouncy! After contacting the lovely people at MooGoo, I received a replacement shampoo that was apparently an updated formula. (Customer Service is FANTASTIC BTW). This product seemed no different to the previous one. Interestingly, I used the MooGoo Milk Wash as a shampoo and this was much better! So for me, I won't be using again on my hair, but if your hair is short and untreated, it may be OK
My scalp had started to get very itchy and flaky. I used an anti dandruff shampoo for years but it didn’t seem to make any difference. It was also very harsh on my hair and it started becoming very brittle. I already used Moogoo moisturiser so decided to give the milk shampoo a go. It doesn’t lather up as much as normal shampoo and this takes a bit getting used to. After about three or four weeks I really started to see a difference. The itchiness stopped and my hair felt a lot more soft and bouncy than normal. It did tend to frizz a bit after ...washing so I bought the Moogoo protein shot leave in conditioner. Found leaving it in a bit strange to begin with but am now used to it and I feel the brittleness of my hair and it’s managability are the best it has been in years. I have normally gone for the cheaper type of shampoo and conditioners but have found the cost for the Moogoo Milk Shampoo and Protein Shot Conditioner to be worthwhile.
Dandruff gone, but not perfect.
Using well-known shampoos gave me dandruff and an itchy scalp at the nape of my neck and around my ears. Searching online, I found MooGoo. It took about a month for the dandruff to disappear totally but there was improvement within a fortnight. The shampoo left my hair clean but it could have been shinier. The conditioner (separate review) was ok but I've moved on to another brand of shampoo and conditioner.
MooGoo isn't really cheap but the bottle has lasted about four months so I feel like I got good value.

Questions & Answers
I have used this product the Milk shampoo twice, has eased the itch a little. But the dandruff has started lifting and is pretty bad, my question is this normal? Did you start noticing thick bits coming off?
