Excellent Lawn Mower – I love easy electric start and self prop. function. Especially good for sloped garden and you would expect from one of those more expensive mowers. Show details

drive belt problems – starts well mows well hard to push when drive belt comes off .2 issues found 1. spring tensioning gearbox pulley jumps out ,result no self drive . 2. drive belt comes off same pulley even when spring still tension in place. User manual should show how to replace.refit belt pulley back onto pulley,no service manual available .which would be helpful in regard to for mentioned problems. Show details

I chean air filters, I clean choke doesn’t start. Very frustrating and won’t buy any of… Read more

Does the job – Does the job, reasonably priced and engine is strong enough to cut my medium lawn. Aldi is good store to shop at for bargains. So far had this mower for about 12 months and no hassles start first time every time, only thing I noticed it blows bit of smoke uphill more then normal  Show details

Always starts first time - good simple mower – I have had this for over a year and it hasn't need any kind of service - nothing! It always starts first go too. Not sure if I lucked out and got a good one but my experience relative to the price has been excellent. I am more of a reluctant gardener (I mow because I am obliged to) so perhaps others care more about the details but for me this has… Read more

been excellent. The only cons are: I don't love the catcher design - its not that sturdy and occasionally I have to manually scoop grass out of the chute as it can clog up. That would be only once in a while and more often if the grass is damp. I can adjust the blades down and get a pretty decent low cot. Good mower (so far)

Surprisingly Brilliant – My husband loves this lawnmower. Rechargeable battery operated key start (no more pulling, so even I can start it with ease). Self propelled. Makes mowing lawns much easier and more enjoyable. Easy to assemble. This mower is much better than you would think and definately one of Aldi's superior products.  Show details

Good and cheap petrol mower! – Always heard about the Aldi petrol lawn mower is good, all I can say is we will never go back to the electric mower again, its much more powerful and no lead!!!! Very sturdy build, and come with a hard catcher, so the rumor is true, it is a good and cheap option for people who don't want to spend few hundred dollar on a lawn mower.  Show details

Gardenline 21" 4 stroke 163cc B&S 675EXi – Mowed my lawn for 3 hours today, used 2.5 tanks of fuel. Lawn was 0.5m high. Positive: - Performance model B&S 675EXi engine - Easily handles 0.5m high grass w/ self-propel - Only $299 which made my jaw drop - Self-propel places less strain on your body - 21" width reduces mowing time - Side discharge bonus addition - According to the… Read more

manual, the oil never needs to be changed

Neutral:

- Handle bolt did come loose, however easily tightened with wrench. Would of been handy if one was included.

- Self-propel cable was too firm, fixed after adjusting a few times

- Catch does look time consuming to fit, however most people should be mulching

After reading some reviews:

- Everything is made in China these days, don't use this as an excuse

- Not all reviews are for the same model, mine is the 21" 163cc B&S 675EXi model

- If you are mulching fit the mulching plug AND side discharge accessory

Self propelled .. started out great but – Trouble after 2mows with Battery start, didn’t worry the next time I mowed as it started 2 nd pull . This is the 4th time I’ve mowed, it started after vigorous pull starting went a few steps and won’t go again fuel is the same used initially, removed spark plug and found it has no spark so I believe it has an electrical issue I have emailed the… Read more

help people and will wait the reply. Other than that the mower is pretty heavy if u have to lift it, but did work well with the cutting and the self propelled speeds are satisfactory ( maybe the high speed could be a bit faster. Hope the problem gets resolved as it would suit our needs easily
