avoid this product – Complete hassle to get extra filters. if you're like me, and after a little while the filter needed changing and it takes forever to figure out how to order, only to realized you have to order through phone where you have to repeat everything twice in NATO alphabet. the shipping costs is stupidly expensive so kinda pushed for extra consumption of… Read more
these not so cheap filters. once ordered you realize they get your card right but unable to know if they got the order right as nothing is sent, warned, etc.
after a long while I did get the filters only to realize I gave the wrong digit in the product code so I received the wrong filters. I could send it back at my cost but given I had already removed the plastic on one it would barely make me 15 dollars back, essentially it netted me a loss of $115 dollars.
if this had an actual functioning webpage line they've been saying they will for years (guess what, they won't) or actually send me the bill like they said they would (they ended up having my email correct but just decided to not send any proof of purchase or receipt, or have shipping cost at a normal rate I perhaps could have saved a dollar.
it's quite disappointing as ALDI products usually are trustworthy but sterling is just trash, that they don't even accommodate at all for filter purchases is just more evidence that their initial goal is duping the customer in a single purchase.
Ewaste – Replacement filters cost $90 from Tempo. This is the same price as the whole item. Therefore the sensible option is to throw the whole unit in the garbage and create piles of ewaste. I will never buy an Aldi/Tempo/Stirling appliance with consumable parts ever again, if this is the level of after sales "service" they provide. Disgusting. Show details
Great buy for the money until it needs a new filter – Filter LR2018 4920 Purchased from Aldi for $99 (good price) and silently kept the pet smells and nasties out of the TV and dining area. Then the filter change light started flashing and that is where it ends. One unusable purifier and no easy way to get it going again. Is it any cheaper to buy multiple filters at once? Would be nice if Aldi… Read more
could sell the replacement filters at the same time as the machine, so people can be prepared for when this occurs and have an idea of the actual running costs.
Has helped with allergies and asthma – This machine has been amazing, Family members with asthma and pet allergies have found the machine has been helpful in keeping their health issues under control due to the air filter. The Stirling keeps the air cool and fresh. Show details
Service May Need A Fix – My Aldi air purifiers yes more than one was purchased back in 2020 was good until I had to replace the filter in one.Price of the purifiers was $150 each and to get a new filter was in the $90 to $100 range delivered. The filter has never arrived as Aldis service Center I contacted several times informed me that it was bush fires or flooding.Three years on I am now going to call them once again. I will report back. Show reply
Think seriously before buying anything electrical from Aldi – Filter lasted a month in a normal bedroom and then I could not find a replacement filter. Then I found out that even if I could find a filter it cost $68 dollars which is half the cost of the actual machine. The Product came out when the virus first hit the community so it really made sales based on fear in the community and the lack of those on… Read more
the lowest incomes to being able to buy air cleaner, if they could even find them. I suffer from asthma and a rare lung condition called Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH). I stopped using it after warning light went on after a month so not enough time to evaluate. Asked if I could get refund and got told it must be my fault as bedroom must have been dirty. My pet is a poodle who gets groomed every six weeks and does not shed. The carpet was recently replaced. Not first electrical good brought from Aldi that needed replacing in short time sadly so finally decided to no longer buy any goods under concept of Special buys. I was the last one standing in my group who believed. Sad really as really wanted Aldi to give the other two a run for the money. This review is late due to medical treatment.
My acute sinusitis was immediately relieved – I purchased this unit in September 2020 for$149. It was so inexpensive I was not expecting too much...but it made an immediate difference . I went and bought another. In 2020 I could not get through to the number given for buying spare filters but now have done so through Tempo - Aldi's new contracted Customer Service company - and ordered the… Read more · 1
filters. ALDI website doesn't make it easy to find the number so I give it here...Tempo Australia 1300 886 649.
Five stars for the efficacy of the unit....1 star for the initial lack of customer service...3 stars for this year's customer service, which is good but difficult to find!
Excellent going strong for three years – Everyone who is wondering if you call Aldi they can order you a replacement filter over the phone comes in a week without a problem wasn’t hard to work that out Show details
Replacement filters? – The air purifier worked well, but now the filter needs to be replaced (it cannot be cleaned) and that's not going well. The filter is not available in stores or to order online. Instead there is a postcard included in the packet which you are meant to send to an address in Qld with money. But the cost is now out-of-date so how much money should I… Read more
send? Is the address still valid? Who knows. And there is high postage attached. This also varies it says, but no information about the actual rates. This is strange and stressful. I just want to order a replacement. I've looked on the Aldi site but there's no information and no way to order electronically. Why make it so difficult? This makes it a one-use product. What a waste of money and plastic etc.
For everyone that needs a replacement filter: – I recommend buying the "Flintar TT-AP002 H13 True HEPA Replacement Filter" from Amazon. Stirling distributes the same air purifier as VAVA and TaoTronics so you can buy their replacement filters. Show details
Unable to purchase replacement filter – I've contacted tempo since I bought it last year and they've replied multiple times that the replacement filter is still unavailable at this moment. They offered me full refund and asked me to returned the product. It's a shame it worked well and I've been using it 24/7 for the past few months but just unable to get replacement filters. Just buy other bigger brand purifiers with easy access to replacement filters. Show details
Excellent product – Extreme hayfever sufferer and Asthmatic and used as directed in an enclosed room i find this product worked very well. Great value for a great result. Very easy to operate. Show details
Worth every penny – Simple, elegant, lightweight, quiet and very effective, at least for one room. If left on, it purifies the air in an entire small house, but for a larger house you'd need more than one or a bigger unit Show details

Great value for money – This air purifier has made such a difference in the air quality of our home during the regional fires. I don't know what we would have done without it. Highly recommended.
Very impressed AND able to order new filter – I had shared the concerns of others in that it had remained green, and then a few nights ago it woke me up as it had gone red and was howling. After about 2 hours it switched to blue and then shortly after back to green. The colour of the HEPA filter (now brown) and the difference in smoky smell between my bedroom and the rest of the house… Read more
convinces me it is doing its job well. Also placed a call to tempo today and was able to order a replacement filter for $40 including delivery. (Not sure how long it will take to get here)
Does a great job, highly recommend – Purchased months ago but it has really been put to the test over the past week. Canberra has had the worst air quality in the world (5000+, when 200 is ‘hazardous’) and it has been on high non-stop. It has made a huge difference to the air quality. Great value for the price. The sleep mode is also good (dims lights). Four stars because, as others have mentioned, the light is always green even when air quality is terrible.
Always on green – I am having the same problem as Mick B in that the light is always green - during worst Sydney smoke day last week and in a room with mould issues.
Green light? – Currently living in NSW with the dodgy air from the bushfires and this purifier is saying the air quality is green? ..... which kinds says the machine is dodgy. I would have least have thoughts it would have been blue with the quality of the air at the moment!
Don't under estimate the power of this little beauty! – Having increased issues with asthma - lots of pollutants in the air - remember a friend having a small unit (he smoked indoors) and it seemed to assist - albeit - he smoked unfiltered Camels, enough said. Saw an article on A Current Affair about air purifiers and they were in the vicinity of $700. Then this one from Aldi caught my eye for around… Read more
$129. Here is the manual, have a quick read, it's easy to set up it uses the HPA filters, it's quiet, has a sleep mode and OMG, it WORKS!

We have a small Jack Russell and as you can imagine there is a bit of dust in the bedroom from her little bed. I hate our carpets, they're real dust traps so this unit sits near my side of the bed near her bedding.
I put it on for three x 2 hour bursts when I first bought it. I put it on for an hour in sleep mode each night. There is NOT ONE BIT OF DUST on my side table, on the dressing table, it's a very large room - the unit does 25 sqm - I'm gob smacked at how effective this unit is. Next time they're on special I want one for downstairs, so so pleased with the purchase.
Very impressed! Good value and proper – I was looking for an affordable air purifier for awhile. To remove dust and odours. I tried the clim mate WL 200 but didn’t do anything for me More of a placebo. After looking in the shops at ones between two and $500 this one popped up in Aldi for just over 100. It has three stage filtering which the more expensive homedics one didn’t have and… Read more
