Oh my lord, what a wonderful find. After my sunbeam died I tried the breville which I returned because it felt like it was spitting the oil at me & the meat was going between the blades. I saw the Ambiano & thought I would give it a try. Well I am so impressed with this, I nearly cried. No meat coming out between the blades & I can cut roast meat again. Thank you Aldi.

Seems to work well – I bought mine about 5 years ago used it a put it away as I wasn't happy with it. Today I came across a video for the exact one and I did the same. You have to run the knives along slowly. I am very happy now I know how to use it properly, all my knives and scizzors are sharp again.The finer side does let off some sparks I didn't find them a safety issue go slowly.
