Poor R&D inferior composite materials – Broken tip like many others. Hardened which prevents them from being sharpened. Cheap moulded plastic handles, don't waste your $$$ Show details

Broken Knife Blade – Was given this knife as a gift never used in box. First use to cut tomatoes did not have a sharp edge that im used to, as all my good knives are expensive chef knives. So I got out my 3 stage sharpener to put a better edge on it and the blade just broke almost in half! Made of some sort of plastic material (Ceramic) NOT Steel. **These knives are dangerous do not buy.** Show details

Nasty knifes – While they are sharp, the handles are weak. All 3 knife's have busted their handles. They have broken doing simple jobs, cutting carrots, spuds and the big one died cutting butternut pumpkin. Show details

Great blade....but has rust spots – It probably stated they were not dishwasher proof, however, they have been put in said DishWwasher and now have rust spots everywhere. I am surprised as they look and feel the part. Show details

these Crofton knifes are useless and dangerous – My wife bought 2 of these Crofton knifes from Aldi and was at first delighted with their sharpness, until she found that the tip had broken off one without heavy use, which never happened to any other knife we used. She decided to discard the first one and use the second one, with the same result, after which we decided to throw both of them away. Show details

Aldi Crofton Ceramic chefs knife – The knife is the best and sharpest knife I have owned. Cuts thru frozen meat so easily. Why would anyone discontinue something so good. I am so disappointed it feel of the counter last night and the handle has broken off.

My favorite knife – I bought a Crofton ceramic knife at Aldi’s a while ago. I had never had a ceramic knife before but since I have used this knife all of my metal blade knives just sit in the drawer. So hoping Aldi’s gets more in soon! Show details

Faulty handle design – Handle always breaks after a few months. Sometimes the tip snaps but that is normal with ceramics. So cheap it is almost worth it but disappointing to come so close Show details

Great knife, its my go to knife – Great size, great price from Aldi. Pefect for cutting tomatoes and salad. Performs better than expensive brands..so long as you use it on wood or plastic cutting boards then it should last a long time..Don't use on metals glass or marble as it will break. Comes in two sizes and I have both. I use the dnall one for tomatoes cucumber and fruits and… Read more

the large one for all my vegetables. I personally think its the best ceramic knife brand on the market..super sharp always. This is my go to knife every day.I love it.

great knife – have been using ceramic knives for many years. love them. obviously cannot cut frozen product with them nor very hard items like pumpkin but they are fantastic. More care needs to be taken with them but that is obvious. Show details

Poor quality – Useful for a month then noticed edge sharpness decreased quickly and soon after blade came away from plastic handle, so had to throw. Would not purchase again as was difficult to learn where the knife had been manufactured. Show details

Great until it broke – Loved this knife until the blade broke away from the plastic handle. Super dangerous, so have had to throw it way, (luckily I still had the casing that it came in!) Show details

Knife blade broke when dropped – After the knife's first use, I was carrying a cutting board with several items to the sink and the knife slid off onto a tiled kitchen floor. The tip end of the knife broke and had to be thrown away. I normally only buy quality knives but was caught up in the Aldi 'bargain' isle mania. I did know better.
