Fast and Easy – Forget trying to whip up the perfect milk froth for your capaccino or latte, this little gadget does it for you and does it well. Comes with a 3 year warranty which is amazing in itself plus the option of making a whip that has the consistency of latte milk or a more frothy type used for cappacino. Heats up fast, the whole production from go to… Read more
woe is under 5 mins. The milk is not hot though so you may have to zap it in the microwave if you want very hot milk. The included manual is quite comprehensive and gives plenty of tips. Takes up little bench space and has a transparent lid so you can see how the milk is progressing. To clean after use is just a matter of whiping the non stick milk chamber with a damp cloth and washing the lid in soapy water. Best to do both immediately after use so nothing sticks. It will also froth milk without the heating fuction. There is no mention of 'substitute milk' such as almond milk, rice milk etc in the manual so I assume it's not suitable for non dairy substitutes. Pros: Fast, easy clean, makes milk consistency for both creamy or frothy drinks, can be used without the heating function. Cons: milk will build up if not cleaned immediately after use.
Just not a good product overall – I’ve purchased two or these because of convenience. Neither one of them has lasted two years. Cleaning is difficult as it easily gains burnt milk grime at the bottom which as the product ages you have to scratch off. Honestly- it’s good if you’re on holiday and need a frother - otherwise invest in a more expensive one you’ll get your monies worth Show details
Take care of it and it'll deliver – It's a lot cheaper than the $179 alternative I was looking at. Read the manual, it's very clear that it needs a good clean after each "action". So follow the instructions and it delivers each time. Personally I think it creates a little bit too much froth and I'd like a bit more heat but for the money, I'm really happy. Show details
makes a good froth for a good coffee – Glad I never read some of these reviews - produced great froth to a nice drinkable (hot) temperature. Seemed easy to clean - don't know about longevity yet but very happy overall. Show details
Dissappointed – I purchased the Aldi milk frother last week and very disappointed. It has a spot where the milk burns on the base. The coffee tastes burnt - have tried different coffee pods and different milk. i will be returning the frother back to Aldi Show details
The poor man pays twice – Model MMF-017E A milk frother is a milk frother right? That’s what I thought so against my usual judgement I purchased this from ADLI and it is rubbish. Has a massive hot spot and the milk burns on the base all the time. I’ve thrown it out (after a couple months) and purchased another milk frother that has been flawless and easy to clean. It worked once – I was mindful to follow all the instructions, and the first effort was great, milk was hot with plenty of froth. After using it was a pain to clean as Karen said previously. The second time I used this frother, it didn't heat properly, milk was only partially warm and despite filling to under the lower level, milk was spilling out from the lid,… Read more
leaving me with another massive clean up. As Karen said, this unit is useless for purpose. It doesn't heat and doesn't froth and milk leaks out from the lid.
Good product – Initially did not froth but i changed from almond Milk to full Cream milk. Which makes sense because water would not froth so the milk had to have some substance. Might be worth experimenting with different types of milk. Show details
Brought and returned the same day – Brought and returned the same day, this product should be renamed milk warmer as thats all it does, despite playing with different milk and settings it never produced any froth. So if you like creamy cappuccinos dont waste your money or time. Show details
Cut my finger while handwashing this item – This mill frother has stainless body and rim with very sharp edges on the rim. The build quality is sub par. I have cut my finger like a knife would just hand washing this item. Show details
No complaints – I really like this milk frother. I purchased the Kmart brand and it stopped working after about half a dozen times of using it. So far the Aldi frother has been great and I've had no issues with it. It heats the milk perfect for my liking and is very easy to clean. Show details
Was working well but broke within 6 months – Baught this one and it broke within 6 months. Aldi didn't wsnt to replace without reciept, which who keeps them ? Disappointed. Its clearly a brand that only aldi sells. Shame. Show details

Does not froth well – I had returned my milk frothier to Aldi as it was not working well. It was replaced and at first it frothed up beautifully but after a short time it started to not froth or heat well again. I am considering buying another brand. Did any one else have this problem with the Aldi milk frothier. Show details
Best in the market at such a good price – Can’t live without it!!!!!! The people that are saying it only warms milk and doesn’t froth aren’t using the product correctly. You have to click the black little spinner into the milk frother jug so that it has something to froth with. It’s on the instructions!!! Once you get it I promise you will fall in love with this product! Morning coffees have never been the same. Show details
Did not do what it claims – Very disappointed with this product all it did was warm the milk and no froth. Tried it on both heat and cold setting but same result. Could of done the same putting milk in microwave. Have read some of the other reviews some say different milk can make a difference and some actually say that it froths great. Wish it had of worked Returned to ALDI for refund. Show details
Disappointed – Bought this milk frothing jug some months ago, I was disappointed because I prefer my milk to be “hot”.. the temperature seems too low for my taste, but the rest of my family & their kids love it! Can’t complain about the froth, it’s great!! My grandies all love hot chocolate so this particular item gets a good workout when ever they visit. Show details
Crap, Seal Keeps Leaking – Returned the first frother due to the seal issue. Staff were great and replaced item, unfortunately that didn't fix the issue with seal equally faulty in second one. Lid seal constantly leaks so you put less and less milk into the frother until you have to do 2-3 uses to get a normal cup of coffee. When I actually use this item I don't use… Read more
the lid, whats the point in cleaning something that doesn't do its job.
Now it sits in the garage until called up to make the occassional cappuccino.
Easy to clean though :D
Short life span – I loved this frother it’s great for the price however I am on to my third unit in 3 months. I have been following all cleaning directions and never getting it wet. Only issue I can think is we use it on average 3 times a day but really that shouldn’t be an issue. Show details
Its a great value option to upgrade your morning – Never a big fan of plain long white coffee until this. Nice finish, stylish looks, functions. One button, two options. Quick press to froth/heat, Long press to froth without heat. Getting the initial level right is key, always use the lid as it WILL spray milk everywhere. The springy frother (cappuccino) lives in the draw, the paddle works… Read more
well for a nice latte.
Cleaning is a pain though. The heater element leaves a film on the bottom of the reservoir, which needs to be removed before re-use. I've taken to using a paper towel after a quick water rinse, picks up the milk solids and leaves clean.
Cheap milk frother – Cheap milk frother. Using the paddle attachment supplies the milk is not the foamy. Using the whisk attachment, milk is too frothy. Not much a in between. Easy to clean, just be careful you don't lose the attachment in the sink. Does the job if just want a warm milk with no hassle to make your coffee a little extra. Show details
Why is the surface so sticky and hard to clean? – This thing froths well... maybe too well - your coffee will be extremely foamy. But cleaning this thing is a pain compared to other frothers. Milk sticks to this thing so hard that its not worth using. It is a black teflon surface but this seems to do more bad than good. Show details

Not a bad frother- however – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUhiSVtY2Vk Very in depth review of the Aldi Milk frother- I had similar results to this reviewer on youtube- a nice foth although not a s creamy as a high end krups machine i used to have. it would pay to set your milk level at in between min and max - otherwise you will get overflow dependant upon the… Read more
seasonality of the milk ( froths at different rates during the year) havent tested it with low fat milk- only used normal milk- which is what normal people tend to use. Skim milk is for the mentally challenged.!
Does the job – Purchased a milk frother with our aldi coffee machine. It it pretty good - although only does two smaller cups of coffee or one larger cup at a time. I think you can buy a larger version if needed (although not sure this is available all the time). This is the second one we have brought - and our first one lasted a few years. We only replaced it… Read more
as we noticed it was getting a little harder to clean (ie. the non-stick surface was becoming slightly more sticky) - not because it had broken.
Overflows – Ok let me start by saying I love the actual Expressi coffee machines but the frothers are awful. I bought another one as a spare and it is garbage. Put half the max milk and it still spills everywhere. Then the burnt milk sticks to the bottom. Pain to clean. Not enough for two coffees or one. But the Nespresso one is be same. Throw them away and… Read more
get the stainless steel Breville. I've had mine for two years. Does 4 cups of coffee and you can put it in the dishwasher.
Great Value – This frother won't give you cafe quality latte art but it is great for such a cheap price. With the spring attachment it makes the milk foamy rather than frothy so like other reviewers I find the smaller paddle more effective for coffee as it thickens the milk a little bit while heating. Where this thing does excel is for big foamy kids drinks. It… Read more
is especially good at whipping up cold milk for iced chocolates. We have used ours several times a week for a few months with no problems.
Keeps overflowing do not buy – Keeps overflowing despite putting milk in at minimum level. Foam goes down real fast in the mug unlike the dualit frothier brand. Good for a temp emergency frother but not a long term product. Go for a DUALIT frother it is excellent quality grove is around $89. They sellout very fast when in stock Show details
Can't generate enough froth to cover a cup – Bought from Aldi two weeks ago. First two cups were fine, but has progressively become worse. Not worth the plastic it is made from. Really disappointed, I was under the impression, mistakenly, that Aldi sold fairly good stuff. Won't be buying this sort of thing from Aldi any time soon. Show details
