How much potting mix (in litre bags) do these Aldi Mini garden beds hold please? 80cmx50xmx30cm? You'd think Aldi would provide you with useful info on that packaging, but no!! PS - I understand that they need holes drilled at the bottom - it's the way of retail these days - little quality for more $$$s
Don't know how many liters. Product has no drainage, poor design waste of money.
Hey Edward, thanks, I've figured out that it requires 120lt of potting mix for this size. Re the drainage holes, I'd soon drill my own holes into the base as usually the pots have too big a hole in them & I have to stuff them with old stockings so that the potting mix doesn't seep out of the holes. It took 3 mins to drill holes and I'm an elderly female. It's not hard. My only concern now is whether the 'metal' components will last for more than a year.
Yes I found 4x50L enough with mulch on top
What about the planter boxes, I guess they are made of same material.
I haven't bought them but if they are made of the same material, expect them to rust out as well
