ALDI Mattress Protector

Unimpressed – Not thick enough. No support. Waste of money. My blanket folded is thicker and better. Very disappointing Show details
It fits… that’s about it! – Edit: refunded with absolutely no fuss. Great returns policy! Bed feels hotter than usual and the material is so slippery that the fitted sheets constantly flip off the corners . Returning Show details
Rubbish quality – The backing fabric has completely disintegrated while still in use. Little squares of the fabric all over the bed.
Don't wash it! – The mattress protector was fantastic until the first wash. The waterproof backing tore at almost every seam and I was left with a washing machine full of pieces of fabric. It was washed in a front loading machine so should have been ok. Very disappointed! Show details
Actually makes you hotter – While it initially feels cool to the touch, after a few minutes of laying on it, it actually gets quite hot. It seems to do a great job at absorbing and holding heat. Even if you move off the spot that had become hot, you can feel the spot five minutes later and it will still be noticeably hot! My non-cooling generic Kmart mattress protector keeps me cooler, which isn’t saying much… Show details
Excellent – Bought the protector it felt really cold out of the packaging just great no more reflective heat during the night. We are going to buy another one. Really pleased with this purchase Show details · 1
Great price – Bought 2 of these, one for home and one for our motorhome, they work great, of course your body heat will remove the coolness from where you are laying, just move and it is cool again, works well together with Aldi's Gel pillows, lovely cool head, just flip for cooler months, have not regretted these purchases Show details
No cooling – This topper has no cooling effect. After ten minutes it actually makes you hotter! I will be returning to Aldi after 1 night, hopefully I will be able to get a refund..... Show details
