great looking microwave – programming is complicated and especially when baking in the convection oven, the instructions don't provide any recipes or times for cooking so its hit and miss. I have not used the grill yet.To be fair I think one needs to up the temperature for baking foods like scones. Show details
Well below expectations – Purchased to replace a 7 year old microwave and honestly I should have kept the old one. Sounds like a jet plane taking off when running. Fills with steam when heating frozen food, I open the door and condensation drips off the door onto the floor. Started tripping the circuit breaker in the fusebox after running for 20 seconds or so. in power, supposed to be 1100w but heating/cooking time is comparable to a microwave of 1/2 that power.
Had enough yesterday and went out and bought a decent microwave and it will give me great pleasure throwing this POS out to the tip.
Won't try for a refund as I've misplaced the receipt and can't even remember which Aldi I purchased it from.
Good for the price – Microwave is newly purchased and so far it appears to heat food well & evenly. Programming is good but basic, no short-term (20secs) features. Overall happy with product considering how cheap it is. Show details
Good price but lacks power – Purchased from Aldi supermarket for $50 I suppose a good microwave for the price. It is black in colour and looks good on the bench top. But it really lacks power, I only mainly use for re heating and always have to put back in for a longer time. Show details
