Dear Aldi shoppers I am a regular Aldi shopper for nearly 20 years. I noticed many products quality change from good to bad and some to worst. In recent years specially, I noticed significant degrading of some products. Here I'm expressing my outrage at Aldi for stocking bathroom cleaning products of very poor quality (Power Force). From now on, there're also other items I hate to purchase from Aldi since my latest shopping. In here I'm bringing to the attention of Aldi management the quality of detergents I purchased for nearly 20 years and I was happy with until recent year that two particular detergents quality has changed from good to nearly useless. This detergent is still better than the toilet gel of the same brand I shopped this week, because I use it together with Power force Toilet Gel (a non smelling, useless gel/garbage) to have a little freshness smell after toilet use, but both wasted still not effective as they used to be. I just almost run out of the Gel and am left with half bottle of the 1.25 liter SO CALLED heavy duty liquid bleach. I WILL STOP BUYING THESE TWO PRODUCTS OF same brand (POWER FORCE) from anywhere. Also due to degrading of many items at ALDI, I also am going to start shopping at COSTCO, IGA. Shame on you Aldi. As for this review, I couldn't add the Aldi itmised reciept but I will add the EFTPOS transaction screenshot below.

Kind regards Ibrahim

Purchased in at ALDI for $2.49.

Aldi Bleach is now weaker – For more years than I can remember, I have been using Aldi Power Pro Heavy Duty Cleaner. A few weeks ago, it was no longer in the store, and it couldn't be purchased. I have liked using the product because I felt that it was better than Domestos and always got the job done. It stood nicely on the narrow shelf to be available when I needed. The nozzle was great so that it could be squirted in a direction that I needed.

The store has not restocked for a few weeks now but has replaced it in a container that is twice the size and has no nozzle. It cannot be stored on the shelf, and it can only be poured and not squirted.

Furthermore, the formula has changed.

The former 1.25 Litre formula active ingredients are: Sodium Hypochlorite 52.5 g/l with available chlorine 5% m/v reducing to 2.7% m/v by use by date) Sodium Hydroxide 13 g/l

The latest 2.5 Litre formula active ingredients are: Sodium Hypochlorite 42 g/l with available chlorine 4% w/v reducing to 1.9% m/v by use by date) Sodium Hydroxide 9 g/l.

By calculation this latter is nearly 24% weaker. It still has the name Power Force Pro, but the Heavy duty cleaner description has been changed to Premium Liquid Bleach.

I am unimpressed by this change from something that has worked well for many years to a bulky product that cannot be squirted or stored effectively where I please. It looks as though I shall have to look elsewhere.

Brilliant for shower tiles and grout – I squirt this thick bleach onto mouldy scummy shower tiles and grout, let it stand 10 minutes, then hose off with the shower head. Sparkling clean, and it takes over a month for the tiniest hint of mould to start reappearing. Best shower cleaner I’ve ever used. Thank you Aldi.

Fantastic cleaning product – Best bleach ever, I use it in my toilets, no scrubbing Just squirt some in the bowl & flush after 15-20 minutes......spotless. Use in shower on mould, hose it off after 15-20 minutes. So easy & effective to use.

Purchased in for $2.49.

Full of soap – I purchased this cleaner as it was cheaper than my normal disinfectant cleaner and what a disappointment it is just full of soap and leaves soap marks on everything I use it on.
