More uses but these are main ones I use. The charge lasts a good week. If anyone has any idea how I could get the replacement band, please advise.

Extracting my Aldi watch from its packaging was a challenge. Set up was easy and the recommended Da Fit app seems one of the better generic smart watch apps, and is highly tailorable. I paired it with an old phone at first, then transferred the watch to my new phone once I was confident it was working as intended. Sound quality is acceptable for such a small device. Screen brightness and resolution is good. The choice of watch faces via the app is excellent, including the ability to use a personalised watch face from your own photo library. Battery life is ok so far.
The only negatives are:- 1 - the screen seems to be cheap light duty plastic, so will probably scratch very easily. 2 - many watches, including low end ones, are now also doing blood pressure. Not sure how accurately though. 3 - the app lets you use a photo to personalise your watch face, but doesn’t allow enough on-screen positioning options for time/date etc.
Overall, I’m very happy with it.
BAUHN smart watch warning – This is a safety warning for Bauhn smart watch user. The internal battery of my Bauhn smart watch exploded on its own without warning forcing the watch face lid to split open (refer to attached photo). Note: Watch was not connected to the charging station when the incident happen. Not sure what causes the battery to explode. We are lucky as no one was hurt and there isn't any flammable material nearby when the incident happen.

Christmas gift Side button fell off after a few hours – We charged the watch, installed the app , everything looked good. We headed out for a walk and suddenly realised the side button is gone... Great watch for the price – To start with I have to say to Product Review that ALDI Bauhn Smart Watch is not discontinued I just bought two of them 2 months ago when they were on Aldi special buy, they have a beautiful design and amazing battery life, and stand buy can last for 2 weeks, I have no complaint whatsoever. to dig deep to find a way to switch off the gmail notifications and weather forecast. The readings for the Blood pressure and heart rate are being taken for granted, for now. the blood pressure readings i get on the watch differ greatly from my GP approved, personal BP monitor. I'm not sure about the accuracy of the blood oxygen levels. I like the watch face, the GPS locator, the step counter, the phone finder, and the alarm, stopwatch and timer functions. The time is correct. I haven't paid attention to the sleep monitor as I use a CPAP unit. I like to be able to pick and choose which functions I like, rather than sifting through longish list all the time. I intend to update review later on. 5th august Now that I have been using the watch for a while, here is an update. I showed the watch to my doctor. He has a smart watch too. After checking my device, he doesn't recommend relying on the heart rate and BP monitors. the manual does say these are a guide only. However, we compared the Blood oxygen monitor to his own device, and these matched. Blood oxygen is good. It is a shame the watch doesn't have a plug in for recharging, as the supplied unit is another piece of gear you have to look after. I like the time function. I often use the 15 and 30 minute timers when working. all for now.

watch to you phone but pair it to the app via the setup and if the sleep monitor is a bit out switch to non-dominant wrist.
Spend some time after pairing or binding to make sure the setup is correct. For notifications I would suggest not to use the mirror phone but go through one by one and chose.
Make sure the SMS is on as default is off
The wrist wake up when switched on has a default 8am to 11pm setting so change that if you need it outside those times
Battery life seems very good vs my usual daily of a Huawei Smartwatch II
The heart rate function can be a bit jumpy with odd spike but I would say that’s about right for a watch
Blood Pressure does not seem to record anywhere near accurate – have tried both wrists and even on a desk and got reading nowhere near genuine BP – but again you gets what you pays for so just a novelty I my eyes
GPS - very impressed quick to locate and at this stage accurate
Recording Sports Activities. This is a bit hit and miss so far. Using the GPS outdoor all seems to be working well (Run/Walk/Cycle). Indoor I have tested Yoga - and even though its run for 20 mins, the watch advises exercise time too short and doesn’t then record. I used the Yoga setting for a Body Pump 60 min weight training session mainly as you are pretty static in regards to steps so seemed the best match, and even though my heart rate was monitored and the various zones displayed, no calories were recorded and I got the time too short. The treadmill session (indoor) was then tested and this worked so this seems to be a software glitch rather than hardware and one for the app developers to follow up
The support team for the app is responsive but were not able to assist with the above. Support is over WhatsApp and bizarrely was send a video on how to access the firmware test server, but they used an app version in Spanish and did not talk on the video so pretty useless without a little more guidance.
Overall the bugs and quirks are not enough for me to return the watch. I purchased this mainly for outdoors for the GPS so I don’t need my phone and its does look quite good with a clear display so for $70 – I am happy. So I’ll award 4 stars its probably 3 stars if I included the app which is buggy but hopefully the developers will keep working on this

I think the magnetic part of it may have reacted with another magnet thing and that’s what caused it to do what it did but I’m not a scientist or anything so it’s only a guess. Much like my other charging cables I left it plugged into the power socket however when I went to charge my watch I noticed that the charger had melted all the way through and it was very hot to the touch. I unplugged immediately and waited for it to cool down. I still needed my watch to be charged and I didn’t want to throw it away because I wear it so often, so when it cooled down I plugged it back in and tested to see if it would still charge and it did not. I cannot charge my watch now and am very disappointed about this while event. How do I charge my watch now? Please get back to me.

it lets me select it a it's also me to input a code into the device which I can't do. Sometimes the code confirmation pop up will quickly disappear like there is a fault.
I have restarted the watch, app and phone a number of times but no change.
All permissions are selected as well.

Love mine, its no fitbit or Apple Watch but really good for the price – I just purchased the circular Bauhn smart watch and love it. I doubt the heart rate etc are 100% accurate, but its close to what my other watches/bands report. I love the slim form factor, the screen readouts and watch faces.
