04 Error, door won’t open – 4 months out of warranty and it’s showing a 04 Error. Door won’t open.
Purchased in at ALDI for $479.
Good until now – Similarly to others, I have also had the U4 error code show up. I was able to open the door after much hassle. Upon opening, I realised the door is the issue as it's closed but the error message comes on just after pressing start. It is out of warranty by a couple of months but is there any way to get a replacement part or have it repaired?

Error U4 means that the door is not closed properly. • Close the door properly, then press Start/ Pause to restart, the door lock indicator is on. • Check and ensure no items are caught in the door
You can also try to: 1. Unplug the power cord after the drum has stopped rotating. 2. Get a container and a rag for the water to drain into while you wait for the water to cool to a safe level. 3. Open the pump filter cover at the bottom right hand corner of the front panel. Remove the plug. The water will drain out of the hose. 4. When enough water has been drained out of the drum (the water level must be lower than the edge of the inner drum), pull down the emergency rope underneath the bottom right hand corner of the cabinet and listen for a slight noise, then you can open the door.

E 12 Error – Machine worked great for years loved it no problems . But 15 days out of warranty and now won’t spin , you have to laugh 15 days ! E-12 means blockage there was no blockage. Tech can’t find problem said cost to much to fix. Advised buy a new washing machine 3 years & 15 days and it’s dead. Times are tough finding $$$ to buy a new machine not what I’m looking forward to. Went into Aldi store to ask but nothing they can do sadly I now have to buy a new machine it was great when it worked. I suggest Spend a bit extra and buy quality.

Love this machine – Mixed colour wash is 1.18mins, which is only 10 mins longer than my last top loader. Energy rating and water rating is a great mean we don't spend extra on the wash. By far the best front loader I have used and previously owned LG, Simpson and Fisher and Paykel front loaders. The only CON I have is that the end tune is not very loud, but my last washer beeped every five minutes until the door was opened so I am readjusting.

Dead out of the box – We recently purchased an ALDI 9kg front loader, as we don't have a car we had to pay for someone to help pick up and deliver to our apartment. Unfortunately it doesn't work and the water pumps straight to the drain without washing. Rang the service provider to be told to return to the shop for a credit/refund. They weren't interested in a replacement or servicing it. No other option available. Now we're going to have to pay for the delivery guy to come back and help us return to the store, also then we won't have a washing machine for several more weeks. Not a great option for us. We expected better ALDI.
