Poor quality and ZERO after sales support – Purchased my Aldi power washer about a year ago which states on the box that it has a 5 year warranty and probably used it for a total of around 3 hours in that time. Unfortunately, whilst the main unit is still working OK, the plastic nozzles have all blown out of the side and the trigger on the gun has now blown a seal in the valve so most of the water is now pouring out from the trigger. I contacted the Customer service number for replacement parts only to receive a recorded message advising that they were busy and for me to leave my number and they would call me back within 48 hours. That obviously never happened so I therefore sent an email to the same department who's email address was shown on the box. Unfortunately, that email has also gone unanswered so the next course of action will be to simply now return the item to my local store for a refund.
Purchased in at Beeliar for $99.
Read the manual before writing review – I wonder if people read the manual: No soap? only works under low pressure. Turn the second part of the nozzle to low pressure No pressure? As above, there are two functional movements on the nozzle. One for the shape of spray and the second (closer to hand) is for pressure. Machine works great. Show details
Don’t waste your time – I was excited to have a pressure washer for the first time and I thought this was last a long time. It is fine as long as you don’t care about wasting your money. Mine wouldn’t put any soap out and so it had a three year warranty, so I filed a claim. Company doesn’t respond to emails quickly and denied my claim despite it being within 3 years and with a receipt. Best bet- avoid Ferrex altogether based upon their lack of customer service. caught fire after just over a year of ownership that had been otherwise faultless – this washer had been pretty good and faultless for about a year then suddenly this morning she caught fire. The fire was self sustaining and I'm very happy/relieved that I hadn't packed it back into our garage immediately after washing the car otherwise I fear that we'd have torched the house. Show details
Cheap pressure washer with poor nozzles – The Ferrex High Pressure Washer KSC501-2000E (distributor Action Spares product code is 813816) is 2000W, has a maximum water pressure of 2219PSI, nominal working water pressure of 1479PSI, maximum water consumption of 8L/Min and rated flow of 5.5L/min. I paid $64.99 (RRP $129) and given the need to buy a replacement water gun, lance and nozzles… Read more
to get good performance out of the unit I couldn't recommend it.
I purchased an inexpensive water gun, lance and tips off Aliexpress via the Jungleflash store and the difference is night and day. It is a shame the included water gun, lance and nozzles are so poor but the hose uses Lavor/Parkside connectors so it is not hard to source a Lavor/Parkside to M22 adapter and then attach a better quality M22 water gun and attachments.
The quality of the water gun, lance and nozzles is par the course for a cheap pressure washer so this is not a shot at Aldi/Action Spares but a case of you get what you pay for.
The included water gun uses a Hitachi connector for attachments.
On the upside I now have quick connect fittings and the performance of the modified kit is much better than an old Karcher K2.180 I also own. The pump is quieter than the Karcher K2.180 likely because of plastic pump and impeller and motor wear on the Karcher's metal pump.
Update 1: I got a replacement variable pressure nozzle which didn't have the inconsistent spray pattern but the output is still weak when using said nozzle so it must just be the design of the nozzle, I've seen similar nozzles on other pressure washers and performance is also mediocre so I guess it's just a case of you get what you pay for vs professional grade 1/4 inch quick connection stainless steel nozzles on an M22 water gun.
I have been using the pressure washer for about 10 months with about 50 cars washes in that time and pressure has dropped over time to the point what when using the original included variable pressure nozzle performance isn't much better then a garden hose + nozzle or gun.
The unit is only usable for cars washes because of the M22 water gun and attachments I bought separately.
I've contacted the distributor and the unit would have to be spent over east as it has developed a leak in the cylinder head so the unit has much lower pressure then when new and comes on when the trigger is not being pressed.
I take all the proper precautions like flushing out the garden hose before connecting to the pressure washer, cleaning and replacing water inlet filter as necessary then connecting the hose to the unit and running water through the unit BEFORE turning it on as a lot of people run their pressure washers on startup dry and doing so degrades and kills plastic pump pressure washers.
I am going to return the unit to Aldi as it's too much stuffing around to send it over east only to be sent another unit that will likely suffer the same fate within a year or two.
This unit might be OK if you don't plan on using it much/often or just once or twice a year.
For $64.99 (RRP $129) it was worth a try but this was definitely a case of I got what I paid for (a cheap pressure washer with notable shortcomings).
Update 2: Sales Assistant at Aldi was happy to process the refund and said these pressure washers have a high return rate.
Works fine for me – Works fine, first High pressure washer for me though, I see few says the pressure pipe won't fit, there is a small black cap you need to remove first before you can fit the pipe . Show details
Piece of crap – Manufactured incorrectly, the hose will not connect to the screw at the bottom of the washer, what a pain in the back! I read this issue almost a year ago and thought maybe they’d fix it again before rolling it out again , crap! Show details

For $175 I can't knock it at all – Easy to assemble add oil and fuel and she is ready. On the green Nozzle medium spread I need two hands to hold it. I've only just got it so who knows for reliability but it is a big step up from the Karcher electric one I have in power. It was reduced at Aldi Show details
amazingly perfect – had this for nearly 2 years. I use it alot, and hasn't skipped a beat. I brought a karcher before and it didn't last a week. yet this brand amazing, only down fall is i wish they had a site in australia so you can buy attachments, but other then that works a treat. Show details
THE BEST VALUE BY FAR – I used my brother Ferrex High Pressure water cleaner along with some of the fittings, to my surprise after nearly thirty years the paths look like new. I am keeping an eye for when thery are in stock again so i can purchase one for myself. Dennis Show details

ALDI WORKZONE HIGH PRESSURE WASHER $75 – Used for all up 20 hours approx. The connector nozzle at the wand blew up and started leaking. Based on the comments here trying to get a repair is out of the question. Show details
Value for money, but has limitations – I have used this washer extensively, and find it has excellent pressure. There are no leaks, but I did have to replace the hose connector. It was plastic and broke off, but quickly replaced with a garden hose connector. The main issue I had was that the soap dispenser stopped working on the second use and never worked again so I've never used it with soap since. Show details

Power failure on start – Hooked up the hose, assembled as per instructions, flicked on the switch and heard it start up for 1 sec before cutting out. Unable to restart it thus far. Disappointing! Show details

Not a great experience – On sale at Aldi for $50. Worked very well for the first hour until the nozzle blew apart. Found all the parts put it back together but now multiple leaks. Back to Aldi and exchanged for another one. No issues with Aldi Staff very considerate and very professional. Next day, 5 minutes into usage it quit. No power..called the help line call… Read more
center and the operator said someone would call back. 3 days later No call back. Don't think they will ever call back. Back to Aldi for the return of the second and last washer. Aldi refunded purchase which will show up as a credit on my credit card account. Aldi now has a ñewer washer in stock and I'm tempted to have one more try. Aldi's return policy is outstanding but I'm reluctant to give the pressure wash company a third chance based on their lack of followup and integrity.
Nozzles break – I bought it a couple of years ago have used it twice on the third occasion nozzle split so used slternste nozzle that had never been used and it split ten minutes after starting Very disappointing Show details
hHgh pressure washer TOTALLY NOT WORKING only after 2nd use – The pressure washer I bought only three months ago but stopped working just after my 2nd use on yesterday. I thought it might be for the reason of overheating although I turned it on for 10 to 15 minutes only. However I found it totally stops running when I tried it in this morning. It is even frustrating that when I attempted to ring the warranty service number, it appears uncountable! Show details
Warranty service uncontactable – Machine worked and then started to stop for a period. Then started again for a period. Then stopped. Seemed to be overheating and resuming when internals cooled down. Then it blew the breaker switch on the board. Then the nozzle blew off the end of the wand breaking the flimsy plastic retainer. Now unusable. Five calls to the warranty number which is just an answering service. Show details
Worked well until it caught on fire! – I have used this pressure washer for approximately 5 hours in total and loved it. Today when I turned it on it immediately started to smoke. I could smell something burning. Left it for 30 minutes, turned it back on and it caught on fire. I immediately disconnected the power. Very scary and dangerous. Do not purchase. I have now read similar reviews.
Don’t trust – Brought Pressure washer today, parts were missing. No customer support. Going to try and get a replacement tomorrow. I wouldn’t trust any electronics or tools they sell. Not happy at all. Show details
Great machine works great – Device works very well. I researched all the comparable pressure washers from Bunnings and the ALDI model was Streets ahead in specs and price. Great value for money with extra accessories other don't come with.. Show details
ALDI SCHEPPACH Support is the worst – I bought this water pressure in April 2020 and it worked fantastic initially. However I pulled it out again this year to water blast the driveway and it stopped working. I phoned up ALDI to claim on my warranty. I still have the warranty documents which states 3 year warranty. However trying to access this service is a joke. Phone the ALDI /… Read more
Scheppach helpline and they take your number and say someone will call you back in a few days. Yes that’s correct they do call you back but if you miss the call then you have to call back the helpline and repeat the process. I’ve been repeating this process for 4 weeks now without any luck. I’ve now given up. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I guess I should have known pay peanuts get monkey service.

Does the job – Product does the job and is value for money. Convinced other reviews where people can't thread hose is due to the fact they are actually trying to connect it to the wrong spot. It goes in the front and actual garden hose goes in the back. Image that someone posted is clearly the back. Show details
Not Able To Get High Pressure Cable To Connect – This problem is mentioned by others below. Some people don't seem to have this problem. Diameter of hose and the diameter of connecting inlet are the same! Thread cannot bight. Show details
a good cheap HP cleaner – Brought this and straight out of the box had it going in about 5 minutes. easy to fit together. it cleans as good if not better than my old Karcher. only problem is one of the nozzles sprays out a bit sideways but having that replaced by after sales. Sold on a three year warranty. the hose from machine is a good length others seem to be shorter. Show details
Good value for money – Value for money, i used this pressure washer for 3 days solid paired with a Gerni patio washer head, it cleaned all the driveways and footpaths around my house with ease. Would recommend it except for the patio cleaner that comes with the unit which is crap. Show details
Junk, crap manufacture dont waste your time – Could get the high pressure hose to connect, wasted hours and delayed my project. No problem getting refunded , maybe this is regular for Aldi products? Not buying this type of equipment from Aldi, first and last. Show details
Connection hose too short - inoperable – The supply connection hose supplied is too short to connect to the pump outlet. The hose is approx 6cm too short to connect- great QA ! The machine cannot operate without the hose to connect Show details
Great value for money – Aldi Ferrex Model HCE2000 : 2000W :Max pressure 2200psi :Max water flow rate 8l/min Bought this from Aldi 3 days ago for $129, has a 3 year warranty. Assembly was straight forward. I was surprised at how much pressure the unit produced; it was far better than I expected, having just disposed of a Karcher K2 Plus a few days earlier( due to water… Read more
leaks from pump region - it was 5yrs old, so it did its job ok) The variable jet nozzle is far superior to the one on the Karcher K2 in my opinion because you can get a pencil lead thin high pressure powerful stream through to a large area wide spray still at good pressure. My first try using this was removing mould from the outside edge of my gutters gutters and facias; for little effort it performed the job quickly. Noise level is fairly high, the hose roller on the handle is really good and the unit has large wheels making it easier to wheel around. Will update this post in a few months after more use of the machine.
Good value, gets the job done – Good machine for the price ($129). I used it on concourse for 5 hrs yesterday (non-stop) and 4 hours today no problem. Good flow and pressure for 2000W machine. My concrete was extra dirty and mouldy so it took a while, about 100mm strips at a time. But to be expected for this size unit, would buy again. Show details
More pressure out of a garden hose – I bought a Workzone pressure washer in March 2016 and used it infrequently until the pump cracked a month after the 3 year warranty expired. So I was on the look out for a new machine. At $10 less the one sold in Sept 2019 is a real dud. There is not enough pressure to wash dirt off a wall, let alone off concrete. The attachments are cheap and… Read more
nasty. Heaven knows how the detergent dispenser is meant to work. If it is as the manual suggests then you are better off just splashing it about yourself. The March 2016 model had good pressure and high quality attachments. What a pity Aldi can't be consistent in what they place on the market. It's the same with pretty well everything they sell - one model will be excellent, the next useless, and because they change their models every time you cannot get specs in advance or accurate reviews. I got a refund under their 60 day happiness policy.
Dangerous! – Only used it for 15 mins max, started smoking. Turned off and unplugged, and the smoke continued to get worse. Then it burst into flames, underneath, and was on fire. Show details
An awesome low budget unit – For the $ paid...we bought it today and have used it for 5hrs cleaning old concrete, it was awesome. A control over the auto chemical cleaners aditive would be good but it is certainly worth the $ Show details
