Purchase 2 reindeer wreath holder for my front door. First off, they were sent in a plastic bag.. inside the bag was hangers again in a plastic bag, NO bubblewrap at all to protect them.. so the bashed together in transit! certain type of screw, I’ve had to used a bigger head screw , that pokes out making the back of holder not sit properly.. I’ve also had to put tape over the screw to protect my front door. When I sent an email, they did reply.. I also sent pictures of what I was complaining about. They have shown zero signs of fixing the issue, and gone silent about the problem now. Think very carefully about buying from this company, as their customer support is cr#p!

Excellent customer service. Love Alfresco Emporium at Bundall. Went there yesterday to purchase a few gifts and loved the festive atmosphere inside the store. Sitting man figurine – I am in Calgary Alberta, Canada and my figurine of the sitting man arrived this morning. It was packaged super well and I’m thrilled with the way it looks in my place. Very good service from the company as well. The only downside is the shipping cost all the way to Canada but not too bad considering the distance. Also it came way faster than expected. It arrived in 8 days. I was so pleased.

larger size - strict no returns / exchange on Xmas products, they had the larger ones there, I would pay more for the larger ones and since the sale is still on they could sell the smaller ones and I would continue being a customer. Would recommend although gorgeous products DONT SHOP HERE, take your money somewhere else where they will appreciate you being a customer.

item would not be delivered today, but delivered next Wednesday, and to call the Bundall store if I wished to discuss. When I called the Bundall store, and spoke to Leanne, she advised me that it was human error as to my item not being put on the truck from Sydney. I explained that I had taken the day off and am financially impacted on waiting for this delivery. I also do not have regular days off , and this is a one off to take my delivery. Leanne suggested I call Customer Care to make other arrangements. I have called customer care twice, left 2 messages, and still no response. Given that I was waiting to see the quality of this item before I purchased a sideboard, dining table, 8 chairs and a coffee table, the poor customer service will ensure that I will not be making further purchases from Alfresco Emporium.

Sadly, very disappointed! – I purchased the Paper Napkins Grand Palms design x3 packets for an event, believing from the description that these would be thick, absorbent and have a luxurious feel. completely misrepresented in its description. I did reach out to the customer service team at Alfresco Emporium for a refund and they would not even hear of it, telling me that the napkins are infact 3 ply and exceptional quality... I suggested they open a packet and experience it for themselves first. I'm not one to ever leave negative reviews, but this has been very disappointing. ...since posting this review I have received a full refund of my purchase from Alfresco Emporium.

Stunning products and quality items, its just a shame they dont have more competitive shipping rates – Is one of my favourite online stores but sadly their crazy fixed postage shipping rates are the only thing letting them down, would have been 5 star review otherwise. automatically goes to $49.95, 5 items $59.95 and so on. Its doesn't matter the size or weight of items, cards and gift tags will cost the same as a plant or decor item, seems a little silly and I've rethought many a purchase because of it.

selling fake marble / trying to fool customers – selling fake marble. and trying to trick customers by charging price of real marble. scammers. very dissapointing. people pay a higher price for quality and people that buy pricey items know exactly about quality so your not fooling anyone. it seems to made of ceramic and mixed with some type of resin/plastic. dont buy it. dint waste your money.

Great products and customer service – I have ordered twice from this homewares site. Great products I can't find elsewhere. Delivery was prompt and everything was well packed. The cake stand in my last order had a small chip in the base and when I emailed a photo I was refunded half of the cost. I would order again and recommend to my friends

Questionable Customer Service – I received a broken glass from an online order and feel I have been bullied into making a complaint against AU Post even though the package arrived in perfect condition. Upon arrival of a perfectly intact package, I found one of the eight glasses broken in it's box. I contacted AE and provided photos. They told me that "luckily the package was… Read more

insured and that I should go to the post and fill out a claim form as all their shipments are inspected before departure". I asked several questions and even called the Post to clarify (though not all that helpful). I have had to repack and send back all the glasses (8 of them, with the one broken) and file a complaint at the Post. This process takes away the incentive to order online. Now I am without my $94.85 and without my wine glasses. One would think AE would be "the insured" (I paid flat rate, no additional for insurance) and would handled the issue with the Post themselves. This is much different from other vendors approach when faced with similar problems. In hind sight I wish I would have taken the issue to my CC company. The Post complaint was in my name and they may or may not decide to payout (I wouldn't if I were them as the box and inner boxes were in perfect condition). I'm not entirely sure where that will leave me as AE seem to feel they are free from responsibility.
