Buyer Beware
Be 100% sure you pick the right sofa, because they have a 72 hour cooling off period, and allow 5 to 10 business days for your deposit to be returned, but this is crap as I’m still waiting for my money back 3 weeks later. Still waiting on the refund of $2300. Get your crap together Plush. After this experience I will never purchase a plush sofa.

Ordered Plush Snuggle Swivel Chair on 13/01/‘22, still haven’t received 20/05’22. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM “PLUSH”. !!!.
After waiting 3 & half months for this chair, $cost $1,437 (50% off supposedly) deposit $437, being made in China. Went to Plush on line by using order No., said on the 7th May it would be delivered on ~ 14th May, we didn’t receive any phone call concerning delivery, 1 week before as stated on their instructions. Rang Springvale store, [Name Removed] who we purchased it off, not there, another man said ring local warehouse. Rang warehouse waited 15 mins, went to recorded message, message said would ring back if leave message, left a message no ...

On 19th May rang [Name Removed], he checked and found chair already in local warehouse, he was “NOT ALLOWED TO CHECK THE WAREHOUSE PERSONALLY FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON FOR US, HE SAID HE COULD NOT HELP UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES” ????. Even sent email complaint to warehouse on Wed. 18/5/‘22, Frid. 20/5/‘22 no reply as yet. I checked today Frid. 20/5/‘22 “DELIVERY NOT EXPECTED TILL 31/05/‘22, EVEN THOUGH IN WAREHOUSE 5 KM AWAY FROM WHERE WE LIVE” *DISGUISING* !!!!. “ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER SALE WHATSOEVER” !!!!.I visited Plush Jindalee. The experience was lovely. Tracey was very helpful, pleasant and patient. I couldn't fault the experience at all. Wait time was disappointing but hopefully that will live up to the sales experience.
Ordered a couch on the 4/12/2021 and still no couch even though a couch was promised within 4 months. My cousin ordered a couch from Adriatic on the same day and got her couch in March 2022. They told me my couch was being delivered on the 27/4/2022 but none showed up. Was told my couch was being delivered on the 19/5/2022 no one showed up. I was told that the delivery driver couldn’t find the house. I ordered furniture and appliances for my new house from Furniture trader, Focus on furniture, Harvey Norman and no one had an issue finding the house. I was told that to reschedule my delivery will take weeks. Don’t buy from them go with Furniture trader, Focus on furniture or Adriatic instead.

A great lounge for a great price. A store that is always a pleasure to shop as they have a variety of lounges. Gaelle was really knowledgeable about the products and ver service orientated
Plush has great customer service in the show room but that’s as far as it goes. Once they have your money it is near impossible to get what you have paid for. It’s been nearly 6 months and no couches! You get told one thing eg delivery tomorrow then you get a phone call the afternoon before to push this another month.
Ridiculous the amount of time you spend chasing them up with nothing to show.
After attending a number of furniture and bespoke Lounge showrooms prior, the service received at Plush was to a very high standard.
The salesperson, Jess, had in depth knowledge on the showroom products and took the time to understand and discuss the products that would suit my needs. This include reviewing my Loungeroom spatial dimensions, architectural drawings, current internal finishes and required flexibility for the seating options.

Jess even offered to post out a color swatch to assist with choosing other loose furniture while waiting for our Lounge to manufactured and delivered. Its not often customer service is outstanding and hence this was a very rewarding process. I would highly recommend Jess and Plush as your next destination when buying furniture. Very poor customer service. Paid nearly $200 for delivery with our original quote. Then going to be charged an additional $180 delivery. Unable to contact via email or through multiple messages left with the call centre team. Told by multiple people we would recieve a reply in the next business day however it has been 4 weeks and had no contact other than a text message. Very disappointed.

Waiting for a sofa for half year, finally got the delivery message from plush, and I take one day off waiting for the delivery. The driver said he pushed the doorbell twice and call me twice, I said no way, I am waiting here, and tried to contact plush. It is hard to reach them. The driver called me crap.

Purchased lounge Sept 2020, didn't arrive until Jan 21. Paid $7000, that was after 55% discount sale they had. Leather and cushioning starting to sag within a few months. Leather looked like someone had cruppled a piece if paper and tried to flatten it out. Contacted Plush who arranged for technician, they stated faulty but could possibly be repaired. Called Plush as no response from them. Told Quality Assurrance Manager assessed the technician's report and decided fair wear and tear. Ask for copy of technician's report, told can only get...
Read more outcome advice. Asked to speak to supervisor - day off. Ask ti speak to Quality Assurance Manager- no can request but at least two days wait. Plush salesperson, their website and literature all talks about their 20yr piece of mind warranty. Covers nothing ad everything is deemed fair wear and tear. The display models look and feel great, the product you get if not. If I knew my lounge would look like this after 10yrs I never would have bought it. Have now lodged complaint with ACCC.- 2 reviews

I went into Plush just to have a look into getting a couch that would fit my space. I was immediately greeted by Layal who asked what we were after. She was so kind, patient and knowledgeable on configuring a sofa that fit our space and gave us something we could add to later on if needed. No combination or question was too much. Her expertise was also appreciated in giving us any options we liked to choose colors, styles, fabrics/leathers. This was also appreciated in finding an accompanying rug if we needed it. After purchasing, we were walked through the entire process of what needed to happen next regarding deposit, payment balance and delivery. Honestly, such great customer service to accompany a quality product!

I purchased a Plush snuggle occasional chair and ottoman just over 5 years ago. It came with a 10 year peace of mind warranty which is actually a 5 year no fee warranty + 5 year pro rata repair.
Fast forward to year 5 when I discovered a manufacturing fault with the chair. I had to push Plush customer service for 6 months to get the chair inspected for repair. They refused to arrange for repairs unless I paid an additional inspection fee. This was never stated in their warranty guide (which they have rectified as of March 2022) and they blatan...
Read moretly wouldn't proceed with the warranty unless I paid for this fee. I spoke to five different customer service agents and had my requests escalated to management. Each time they came back with the same response = "We can't proceed if you don't pay the inspection fee". Every time I called, Plush was pressuring me to pay the fee. I've never felt so disgusted. We eventually agreed that I could email photos of the problem to their department and they'd organise a technician to proceed with the assessment but it never eventuated. I was later told that they had essentially blacklisted the repair and that's why it had taken so long. In the end (6 months later) I had to state the ACCC rights and regulations for plush to finally concede that their underwriting concerning the additional fee was incorrect. They quickly arranged for a service technician to view the chair who found that the chair had an irrepairable manufacturing fault and they have since offered a refund for remaining years of warranty. I can't believe how long it's taken to get to this result and the level of emotional distress this has caused has been immense. I felt gaslighted for claiming an obvious manufacturing fault and I hope that no one ever has to experience what I went through. Just be mindful that the warranty will not cover you from year 5+ with out a fee and you will be out of pocket for any inspection fees at this point.Questions & Answers
I purchased 2 x Plush sofas over a year ago. Delivered 6 months after the purchase. I honestly wish I’d read these reviews prior to purchasing. The couches are a far cry from “luxurious feather filled seats” that you sink into (what I wanted) but more like hard uncomfortable rocks with poor quality fabric (what I got), that has pills, pulls, stains and a silver sheen in sections (all dismissed by customer service) Extremely disappointed is an understatement. DO NOT PURCHASE. Quality is not what it used to be, that’s for sure.
Why don’t you fulfill your warranty that is in the contract agreement…that’s your duty of care…disgraceful that you don’t….take a goo hard look at your ex customers reviews they are in the majority disgusted in your service and your products….find a back bone and learn how to do the right thing in life….if not for my dignity then at least your own…if you have any left…shameful company with sad unhelpful staff and policies…yes I get it it’s 2022 no accountability just lie and attack new form of defence in corporate greed….got it…have a nice day..NOT..grubs
