warehouses so can no longer deliver furniture that was paid in full, until late November. Have now opened a dispute with Fair Trading to get my money back. We’ve now waited 4 months for furniture that we were told would receive after 2 weeks and now having to wait 2 more. 6 month wait for furniture is a joke. Have no idea how this place is still operating. Read the negative reviews here. They’re a scam and the customer service is useless. Buy elsewhere.

I ordered a new dining room table which was on clearance, 1 paid over $1000 for the table and delivery and I organised a delivery date. first frustration was why was the table even listed at all and available for purchase if discontinued. The great irony is that the table that I had actually purchased was on the list of suggested other tables I was sent as a replacement for double the price! So I was actually being asked to pay double what the website had advertised. Nevertheless, I did not complain about the absurdity of this and I asked for a refund. I then received an email that the refund would be actioned within 72 hours and then I would receive my funds back between 5-7 days later. So now I potentially have to wait 10 days for my over $1000 to be returned to me which means I can not purchase another table and I am out of pocket $1000 for no reason whatsoever. This is really disappointing service.

Ordered some chairs from Lounge Lovers, and the delivery ended up being delayed a few times, adding up nearly two months. No explanations given. When I asked to cancel the order, they somehow found the chairs "being unloaded from the containers", this despite in earlier calls being told that the earliest delivery date would be weeks away. Show details

be adjusted so frequently that the original “full price” can start to feel almost meaningless. Even when you see a product on sale, it is difficult to know whether it is actually a good time to buy, as there is a real possibility of another significant price reduction shortly afterwards.

I have experienced this more than once with Lounge Lovers, where products I had recently purchased were significantly discounted soon after. In my view, this makes the brand’s pricing feel unpredictable and undermines the credibility and reliability of its advertised prices.

My most recent experience was I purchased the Oskar 140cm Bench for $369 on 17 July and only picked it up on 25 July. Just over a month later, I noticed that the same product had been reduced to $299 — a $70 reduction in a very short period of time.

What was equally disappointing was the response when I raised this concern. Rather than considering the circumstances of an individual long-standing customer and offering any flexibility or goodwill, the response was essentially based on applying the policy rigidly. They claimed making a price adjustment for a delivered order would be not fair for other customers. Seriously? If offering a goodwill adjustment to a customer who purchased the product only a little over a month ago would be considered unfair to other customers, how is it fair to customers who purchased the product shortly before such a significant price reduction?

I simply think potential customers should be aware of this pricing pattern and consider it when deciding whether and when to purchase. I’m sharing my experience publicly so that other customers can make a more informed decision.

Delivery was fast and friendly and the communication was outstanding throughout. We are very happy with our new desk and will definitely be using Lounge Lovers again! Show reply
