Koala Living offers stylish, modern furniture with a premium look. The designs are a strong highlight, though prices are on the higher side. Quality is generally good, but can vary by product. Delivery and customer service can be inconsistent, with occasional delays.

but no bed. The delivery people were incredibly unhelpful & told me to just contact Koala Living. They make you email customer service, which I did. Many emails back & forth, but they were intractible & told me I just had to book in for the next delivery on 22 January. I have today (12 Jan) received an email saying that due to a recent stock inventory update, they don't have the bed in stock & I'll now have to re-book another delivery when it is back in stock (late Feb). They only deliver to my area once a month so I probably won't get the bed until late March. I am very upset as it is an expensive piece of furniture, but I've lost faith that it will actually be delivered one day. Meanwhile they have your money & your only options are either a credit note or if you want a refund, they take 30%. Be very careful dealing with this company. When it goes well, its good, but if I goes bad, then you have very little options. I am currently liaising with Dept of Fair Trading about my rights.

for money, but that's where the praise ends. The delivery team, on the other hand, is a nightmare. Products are dropped from the truck like they're disposable, showing a shocking lack of care for customers' hard-earned purchases.

We've had multiple failed deliveries, with the team turning up late or not at all. One time, they arrived before the scheduled time, but we've had instances where they've taken the delivery back without notice. The communication is abysmal, and the drivers' attitude is downright rude.

To anyone considering purchasing from this shop, beware: your beautiful new furniture might arrive damaged, and you'll be left to deal with the hassle. Until they sort out their delivery process, I'd advise you to look elsewhere.

asking to send pictures of the underside etc. the staff were rude, unhelpful and took no responsibility of delivering a faulty product. It was an expensive product and i really regret buying from them. It is still not resolved and they do not care, keep making excuses

I received amazing service in the Canberra store. They were very patient whilst I confirmed my order and offered excellent recommendations when it came to colour schemes etc.

We placed an order for a queen bed back in December, which was finally delivered on 28th March. During assembly, the delivery team identified that the bed was damaged. They assured us a replacement bed would be delivered the following weekend and that we’d receive a call within a few days. That call never came. When we followed up, we were told… Read more

the system shows the bed as “delivered” — despite it being damaged on arrival and never properly installed. After raising a complaint, we were then informed that only the damaged part would be replaced… sometime in June. Meanwhile, a completely new bed is apparently available for delivery at the end of April.

We now have a damaged bed parts lying in the room with a 3-year-old — a genuine safety risk — and we’re being asked to wait months for a fix to a problem we didn’t create.

How is this acceptable? Why should a customer carry the burden of a faulty product?

For a company that has recently listed on the ASX, this level of customer care is extremely concerning. There seems to be a complete disconnect between operations and basic accountability.

What’s most disappointing here is the complete lack of human consideration. This isn’t just a logistics issue or a delayed delivery — this is about having a young child in a home where a damaged, unstable bed has been left behind. Safety should never be an afterthought, and right now, that’s exactly how it feels.

In my experience, a company truly shows its value when handling customer issues — and in this case, I found the support lacking. I would recommend being cautious, as they were not helpful when I requested a refund or exchange.
