We ended up paying the credit card company in full. This fraudulent company should be shut down anybody that uses them it’s got to be insane. They’re awful, rude, obnoxious, and illegitimate.

Booked a place for 4 nights in Melbourne through trivago with Algotels. They cancelled on me but promised me 5% discount. I booked not knowing it was in USD there was no currency next to the price. even though it was a hotel in Australia and I’m in Australia. No response and no discount. Never ever again. Show details

They didn't refund my booking even I booked Hotel approved. Don't book with them

Terrible customer service, absolutely no flexibility in reservation changes, ended up with a room which was of no use, had to book another room directly with the hotel, at additional costs, I now have two rooms for my stay one of which will remain… Read more

Communication with Algotels was intermittent and just ended with no response from them.

Absolutely steer clear of these sharks, they'll take your money and run, leaving you with additional costs to sort yourself out. Honestly these people should be removed from the internet as they falsely advertise and prey on people. Once bitten twice shy for me.

Stay well clear and book elsewhere!!!!

hotel doesn't have a 24hr front desk). tThere was a phone to call some one from the hotel and an "[Name Removed]" said she'd refund me bc there are no other rooms & I said I refuse to stay in that room. We left to go find another hotel. I spoke to ALGOTELS who told me I'd get a refund and someone would call me in 30 minutes. I received an email a few days later stating I had to provide pictures which I did not take. Who takes a picture of a non working toilet? I have been going back and forth with Algotels who is refusing to refund me the $258 for a room I never stayed at. I spoke with Woodspring Suites customer service who says they can't even find my reservation.

STAY AWAY - TOTAL SCAM Booked through Algotels - through Trivago app- had to contact the to cancel due to Cyclone Alfred and THEY REFUSED - then didn’t respond to any emails thereafter ([Name Removed] was the customer support) when I rang the hotel they were happy to refund due to the circumstances but Algotels had not released the funds to the hotel - so they scammed the hotel & myself !!!!! Show details

mention of currency and it is fair to assume if it is an Australian website it is in AUD. Very misleading.
