AlkaWay AlkaStream

Amazing! Can't fault it – We bought the AlkaWay AlkaStream in 2011. It has been amazing!! The water is delicious - no chemical taste or smell - and we couldn't be happier with the way the whole system works. Waste of money – Bought the large jug and filter. I thought it must be fantastic considering the price. Had problems from the start with the filter, but kept flushing hoping that the problem would be solved. 6 months later, replaced the filter as it was driving me insane. new filter if the problem persisted. I thought that maybe I bought a dud filter first up, but no, the new filter continues to be problematic and I have to flush almost daily. Don't waste your money.

The filtered water tastes very good but tap is hopeless – I just had an Alkaway Alkastream Antoxident under sink water filter unit fitted ,, that went well but I also purchased a sink top tap which sadly wont stop dripping .. the cost of this tap was around $140 so why isnt it any good .. I will have to turn the undersink in-line tap on & off each time I want use it ... NOT happy at all. The whole setup including installation by a licenced plumber cost around $800.

Not impressed! I can't live without my KYK Gen II water ionizer – We recently had to go away and leave our electric water ionizer at home. Our guests told us not to worry as they had a Alkastream water ionizer. The difference in the way we felt after just two days of drinking the so called Ionized water was amazing. from our ionizer... the difference was incredible. I highly recommend the KYK electric water ionizers. They are fantastic.

Way to expensive for what they are.

Idea is good but product casing needs more care in production – Filtered water is good however the casing is very weak and subject to cracking - rendering the unit useless (just after 12 months and out of warranty). After turning the main tap off, the unit continued to drip under the pressure within the unit. Good idea but needs more attention to overall production of the components. Drips – Even though I do believe that the water is filtered and is actually better for your body, the tap drips! it's annoying because everything is done right, and everything is tightened. dont know what's wrong. Water tastes better, and its ionized. Leaky tap. dont know how to fix it
