Be careful of this guy. His number comes up as Nats Locksmith. I thought it couldn't be that expensive. He started doing the work before even giving the quote, by the time I got it, I was in shock and he was already doing then work. Another name on the receipt is Hamish Walker Locksmiths. $365 for 2 mins of work. What a bloody joke. Nasty business
Worst people to deal with – Changed 3 locks ,charged $630 which I thought was high but because it was around 5 o’clock in afternoon and had to get them changed because of robbery. Since Jan 14 have tried to get invoice which was already paid by cash. They don’t seem to be paying GST .
Lock smith ripped me off – I got locked out. Found an online locksmith quoting $39 service , 15 minute doorstep. I knew it won't be so cheap. However, they don't give me price, saying " I come to have a look". I asked the guy on the phone for the quote, he said it was depending on the technician. When the technician arrived, spent 2 minutes, ad asked $350. That is… Read more
discusting. I asked him why it is so expensive and why he won't give me a quote before coming, he said that it is company decision. The company said it depends on the technician. What a sneaking company and people. Anyone know cheap lockpicking people around Sydney?
Complete rip off – Simple lock replacement that took all of 20 minutes cost $1105. No quote before hand. Completely ripped off. Would not use again and will not recommend to anyone. Charging $90 for labour after assuring us we would not be hit with a weekend call out fee - really angry about this business. Show details
Amazing service fast and reliable – I got lock out side of my apartment this guy's come to help me so quickly, I waited 20 minutes till they come over. Thanks for all in one, highly recommended.
Scammers - avoid at all cost – Werent able to provide quote over phone - not even a rough guide. Stated had to asssess the lock first. Arrived, stated it was a very difficult lock and then charged 325$. Opened in ~30 seconds. Overcharged for the callout fee based off the advertised call out fee rate. Didnt apply the advertised discount stated website on the website. Didnt… Read more
provide ABN details in invoice. Phoned up to clarify - hung up on me. Then hung up on all my subsequent phones back. Refreshed their website and their phone number changes each time the browser refreshes - avoid at all cost!
Didn't provide a quote – Made me wait 1.5hrs, and provided a quote of $80-$150. And ended up charging me double that. Deliberate sneaky tactics to make me wait and withhold the quote, very unprofessional.
An absolute rort - not upfront prices – I locked myself out of the house and found these guys on Google claiming cheap call out fees. Refused repeatedly to give me a quote over the phone, said consultant had to do on site. He arrived and quoted $225 (ridiculous but I agreed to pay) the young guy seemed nice enough. After taking a few mins to open my door he then said because it was so… Read more
complicated it was an addition $80 (100 including GST). $335 to get one door open. I can’t believe the lack of upfront quoting despite being asked multiple times. An absolute rort.
Too freaking expensive!! – I locked my door and left my keys inside. So, searched locksmith on google and don't know why their website came first. They did not tell me the price over the phone. They charged me 220 aud to unlock one door! The door was opened within 30 seconds!
