I ordered 8 packets of seeds and none...not one have germinated, where seeds sourced elsewhere, some bought, some given (known to be several years old) have flourished. May as well have ordered some sand.

Purchased 2 really expensive tea plants. Have lovingly cared for these ones for months, no growth at all, no matter what I do. So tiny, and they look like [Content Removed], they could call them tea plants and who would know? Disappointing and now I’ve had to throw them into the [Content Removed] compost, I’m so sad. $50 wasted. Buy your plants and herbs elsewhere.

I bought multiple times from this online nursery over past 2-3 years. The plants are shipped quickly, always packaged very carefully and arrive safely in good order. A couple of plants only didn’t survive the shipping due to harsh summer, so I think the best way is to pay a little bit more for Express to help your precious plants have better… Read more

journey. Many negative comments left here are not far from being true and fair. You cant expect the plant you receive to look exactly the same as pictured for sale. I trust this nursery and will continue to order from them in future. Communication is always quick and very caring. The plants not surviving the journey are refunded, although it is not really their fault.

greenhouses at a university about the method and tools I used to attempt to germinate the seeds, and they told me that there was no way I would have gotten 0 seedlings out of 1g of seeds if the seeds were viable.

It's frustrating because All Rare Herbs is the only retail store offering this species, but they aren't actually offering anything of value at all. I don't think it's an actual scam, just a business that doesn't care about providing good product. I didn't bother contacting them, based on other reviews, and I will obviously not be shopping with them again. Look at other seed stores and nurseries for the plants All Rare Herbs claims to sell. If you can't find the species anywhere else, just keep in mind that All Rare Herbs isn't really selling it either. In my case, I'll be contacting native seedbanks instead.

Ordered immediately after notified of waitlist item in stock. Order was cancelled a few days later because it was 'out of stock'. Will never order again. Don't know what games are being played here.

Poor quality seeds. Bought a 4-pack, not a single plant sprouted. Tried different substrates, including sterilized one. Used stratification where appropriate. Nothing worked — won’t buy again.

Buy elsewhere. Only 2 of 3 plants received were correct. The response to my email requesting the third plant from my order be sent, was surprisingly disappointing and displayed gaslighting behaviour. After two more follow up emails over a week apart there's been no response. Beware! Shipping cost is dodgy too.

Update: To be fair, I've now received a notification that the incorrect plant will be refunded, which is good news.

I am not green ,( pun intended) I have purchased many on line plants from interstate and have gotten what I paid for. Poor quality seed – Plant material for Urtica incisa came in a plastic ziplock bag but not contained to inside of packet (plant material was scattered around and outside the zip. Only a few actual seeds present. None germinated. Do not recommend.

Unjustifiable high postage charges – This feedback is from a returning customer. I am an online seller myself and I know exactly how postage charges are calculated. was $25+. This was not the first time these guys overcharged postage. First time I complained no action was taken, not even apologies. I hoped they improved since, but Nope. Thanks, but there are better deals elsewhere.

I've bought many plants from them over the past 5 yrs – I've bought dozens of plants for over 5years and have only lost a couple but not because they weren't well when sent but after a harsh summer. I will return despite a rare plant I preordered not being available last Winter because I trust their plants more than some other rare plant dealers out there.

infested with red spider mite. A pest I have never had in my garden and was not happy about receiving. I treated the plant and have had it in the sick bay for over a month, but I doubt it will pull through. They have some great herbs that are hard to find but if they don’t survive what’s the point? I won’t be buying from them again.

Pathetic! – Don't buy .If you are in good luck if ordered plants received to your satisfaction . earh.DONOT BUY , unless you want to throw away your hard money and in return you get lemons . There are better more professional nurseries around which provide better customer service.

Arrogant & untrustworthy – (My Order 40985 - 1st. pot with organic soil and enough water to help them grow. Still the 2 plants (they are supposed to be strong and resilient herbs) day after day went yellow and died miserably, so quick that I cannot understand it besides the fact that they were already sick. Now Steve refuses to refund or replace when I offered to have a replacement a full refund. I will take screenshots of my complaint + the others and I'll report this to make my point. It's the principal, not just the money. I strongly encourage any other customer to do the same and report it everywhere if they have a similar experience.
