I have had two Aussie Hoses fitted over the last few years. They are simply the best retractable hoses I have ever had. The fitting service is excellent and I think they are fantastic value for money. I highly recommend Aussie Hoses. They are fantastic to deal with. Excellent communication and you pay nothing until the job is done. You would be mad to buy any other retractable hose!!

So much promise and so little communication. From their OTT marketing you would think at least one person could communicate back to you if you have a question but not this MOB. had paid my money, I emailed them three times and not even a reply. Their stuff is expensive to be honest I don’t rate it. No better than anything else. I would not go near these guys. 2 pint heads in 10 gallon hats.

I ordered Aussie’s 10m retractable hose online, and their installation tech visited 4 days later to install. The installer was extremely efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. The hose itself is top notch - solid with smooth operation and no leaks. I’ll always buy from these guys instead of Retracta in future.

lovely and helpful. So thank you Aussie hoses for my Christmas present to me. Definitely recommend might be a little expensive but they’re the best hoses. I also have an extension hose as I don’t have a tap nearby and it’s exactly what i wanted.
We had a 20m hose installed including a garden post (in concrete) and very happy with John our installer and so far so good, the hose and winding mechanism feel high quality.

We bought two reels, one 10m and a long 30m retractable hose. We also got the tap upgrade, which cost a good dollar on the day. and honour our warranty. Well that is where the second part of our story starts. Our thirty meter reel has had the tracer/hose organiser become dislodged. I don't know the mechanics of the reel so I didn't want to service it myself if this voided the warranty so i contacted the company five month ago and have them not return calls, pass responsibility of damage on to us and have not take any responsiblity at all over the simple fact the tracer has become dislodged from meant position. I feel poorly done by Aussie Hoses and would not recommend their product due to their lack or attention on THEIR warranty granted upon purchase of THEIR product. Poor show Aussie....not very Aussie.

Follow-up · One year in and those reel is working well. It extends and retracts smoothly and the casing is resisting weathering. The original installation was less than half an hour and it seems to have been done just right. Would still recommend.

This is a very helpful and efficient company. The quality of the high pressure hose seems excellent and their installation person was knowledgeable and capable. We purchased 3 retractable reels and hoses from them.

Cheap plastic sprayer nozzle ring breaks within a few weeks. Aussie Hoses claim they don't warranty their sprayer nozzle, which is in violation of Australian Consumer Law. I have no complaint about the hose or reel, but without a working spray nozzle it's pretty useless. I will buy an actual professional brass spray nozzle and chuck the Aussie Hoses stuff in the bin.
Purchased 2 of these and on both occasions, i purchase the most expensive package that included free install and 1.2mtr connection to the tap, all that was provided was the hose drilled in to the wall. Upon calling the installer i was met with threats and abuse. I will never ever consider this company and I dont know how they are still in business they are not to be trusted.
Poor design & quality and very very bad after sales care. I approached them to fix a small issue and they said this type of damage results from handling and is not eligible for warranty coverage. I did not say anything about warranty, simply to assist me to fix. Well I fixed it by myself! This shows that they do not take ownership of their products to assist customers. Follow-up · The guarantee only applies to the hose - not the fittings, nozzle, or the springs or the hose container. In our case the nozzle leaks badly where it connects to the hose fitting… which isn’t covered. And when parts needs to be replaced they charge high postage. This guarantee is so selective its not worth the extra money we paid for what we hoped was a quality product.
