I would NOT recommend All Clear Travel Insurance. On 29/08/25 I purchased a single trip policy with All Clear Travel Insurance for a two week trip to the Uk. Unfortunately my plane was delayed for 3 days by Emirates which resulted me missing some of my planned activities. Unfortunately All Clear Insurance were really hard to get hold of (when making a claim). Their policy for delayed flights is definitely not worth purchasing in my opinion. Show details

value as I know and appreciate you load the premium based on individuals circumstances but after a couple of policies in 18 months with no claims I think there should be a reimbursement. I had 1 Heart Attack since them I have dropped 16 kilos and through cholesterol tablets my cholesterol is now 2.4. I’m a better risk now that what I was before the Heart Attack. Anyway, thank you for helping those who still enjoy travelling.
Terrible – Had the smallest claim and the company simply stopped responding to my claim. I have had to chase them multiple times with the same non-response each time. I would not recommend using this company for your insurance. I don't believe they are a professional or legitimate provider. I think they steal your money and your data. Show details

Good luck if you need to claim! – Our Northern Lights cruise was cancelled as the ship was not ready after refurbishment. My claim was declined as it was not a defined event and they also stated a Policy Exclusion 'Other Operational Reasons'. The WORST Company I have ever dealt with – I had used them on two prior occasions BUT I had never made a claim. Very easy to buy a policy but an impossible task to make a claim. initial contact with them shortly thereafter, submitted all the required paperwork and claim form. We were then not able to contact them again. I lost count of the number of phone calls and emails I sent. We ended up engaging a lawyer who eventually made contact in June of this year after threatening to issue a Statement of Claim. Yes, you guessed it, no refund of the trip and no refund of the very expensive premium paid to them. The whole thing has just been a debacle of epic proportions. Now making contact with the ACCC to see what, if anything, can be done. Please DO NOT ever use this company for travel insurance, they are the absolute worst. There is no customer service whatsoever. Appalling. We did not leave Australia.

weren't. We have tried to cancel our policy and get a refund (eg Covermore are providing 75% refunds for cancelled policies) and they won't do this either. For out trip, we can only get a credit to re-book next year and our travel insurance doesn't cover the credit. So, if my husband or I got sick (from something other than COVID) we lose our money because they won't cover it. Added to this one of their customer service representatives hung up on me. Shocking customer service. I know these are difficult times for everyone but they need to look at what other companies are doing.
Elderly people - beware! – My 80 year old grandparents who paid 1224 pounds for a Annual GOLD Insurance with this company are still stranded in Australia after their original flight home was rescheduled twice then cancelled. grandparents have not put in any claims or planned to do so, but just asked for a extension on their cover whilst they are in Australia. They would prefer to wait until they can return home when flights are at a reasonable price and when it’s also safe to return back to the uk.
After four weeks of trying to contacting this company, they only received a call back two days ago advising that their case had gone to the the underwriters??? Today they received a second call saying that they could extend their cover whilst “stranded” here for 30 days only at a additional cost of ....... 354 pounds?!?!?
Appalling how this company is treating their customers that are not making claims but are only wanting extended their cover in this terrible crisis.
Charging additional, overpriced premiums to cover? Especially to the elderly and vulnerable who have already paid a fortune for insurance is absolutely disgusting!!!
Horrible Customer Service - Just after the cash. Do not use – WE used AllClear for the first and LAST time due to an ongoing dispute about a cancelled trip which we made no claims for. [name removed] and [name removed] from Customer Service are who we finally had dealings with and told me to post a complaint to their Dispute Resolution Centre - again, what a laugh in this current day and age that their Dispute Resolution Centre is only available via post!!!!
All clear from All Clear – We felt comfortable and confident insuring with All Clear Travel Insurance. This confidence was proved when the day before we flew out of the country, our daughter sustained injuries requiring hospitalization and surgery, delaying departure. We appreciated the reimbursement of new flight tickets, done without picky delays that can be typical of some travel insurance companies. We will definitely insure with All Clear again.
Insurance cover for many medical conditions – My wife and I have purchased travel insurance with AllClear 4 times. insurance providers reject my request for cover. One other co told me it would sell me cover for Asia or Europe, but not for our regular destination Mexico and the Americas. However, recently I received an email from this same co offering to sell me cover to the Americas. I went online and filled in their quote form, 6 weeks cover for Mexico for my wife and I was $6000, needless to say I never bought it. I have since purchased the 6 week cover to Mexico for $2550 with AllClear insurance. Very happy to have affordable medical travel insurance.
