support the most. They tend to over-promise during phone conversations, yet fail to deliver in a timely manner. They assure you that "they can support you and you are their top priority, so do not worry; they simply need the medical certificate." However, until you provide the medical certificate, their communication is incessant—calling and emailing you every few hours. Once you submit the certificate, their correspondence abruptly ceases. We reached out to them, and they assured us, "we will call you back in 1-2 hours," yet no such call made. Shortly thereafter, we received an email stating they could not contact us due to an incorrect phone number. How is it possible that they were able to call us consistently prior to receiving the certificate, yet now they cannot? We needed to upgrade our flights upon the surgeon's recommendation, but we refrained from doing so because this insurance company failed to provide us with guidance until we returned to Australia. While en route, they inquired, "are you still overseas or in Australia? You need to upgrade your flights. If you do, please send us the new itinerary." They seem to revel in paperwork! There was no support or direction. It was utterly absurd! My husband faced considerable difficulty returning without an upgrade. This insurance company exacerbated our situation, creating more stress than we could have possibly anticipated. I sincerely hope that no one else falls into this trap.

I went online and completed the application where possible as I could only provide the details of the missed & rebooked flight together with a bank transfer receipt of additional flight payment - this was not all the required documentation as i simply didn't have it. To my surprise and absolute joy i was contacted by Shahila Jaafar from Insure&Go and with a couple of back & forth emails over 2 days my claim was approved and the funds were transferred into my account the next day. I've never experienced dealing with such a prompt, professional company such as Insure&Go. Their service was of the highest level and the fact that they waived there required documentation following my explanation was so unexpected but truly appreciated. i'll not travel again either domestically or internationally without taking out one of there great value policies.

Queensland. I've found that when hiring a car, it's often much more cost-effective to purchase domestic travel insurance than to pay the rental company's expensive daily excess reduction fees. When we returned home, I lodged my claim through the InsureandGo online portal. The process was straightforward and easy to use. I received confirmation that my claim was being assessed and was advised that I would receive an outcome within 10 business days. My claim was approved within that timeframe, and the payment was processed virtually straight away.

This was the first time I've ever had to make a travel insurance claim, and InsureandGo made the entire experience simple, quick, and hassle-free. The damage to the windscreen caused a lot of stress and anxiety during our holiday, but InsureandGo Australia handled everything professionally and efficiently.

declared heart failure (which it was not - its just one of my prescriptions is also for that in other people). I DO NOT HAVE HEART FAILURE! Then they said I did not declare a pacemaker (I tried to declare this but you could not on their site as it is a part of the original condition declared) I was not appreciative of basically being told I was a liar. They then said they wanted a release of my medical records in Australia which I had to do by phone typing in the hospital bed. While all this was going on the hospital would not treat me without me paying $5000 as the insurance would not clear me at this point. I had no alternative but to pay. Shortly after and many calls from Thailand to them in Australia they agreed to cover my declared condition. They did not even ask for my medical records to be released. Meanwhile the hospital said the $5000 paid would take about 20 days for a refund. I then had a further follow up appointment in Samui and then in Bangkok later. On both occasions I could not leave the hospital until the company approved the expense even though they had stated they had given pre approval. I waited over 2 hours on each occasion and in Bangkok had my driver waiting with me at a further cost. After many emails I asked that my treatment be considered a complaint. Nothing happened even after they said I would be contacted within 2 days. They went to close my file and I asked about my complaint and their response was - sorry we will get them now to contact you. I gave up at that point just glad that I was home and vowing to never use them again for travel insurance.

The quote and application process was super easy. I also loved the NSW Seniors Discount! Thankfully, I didn't need to make a claim but, because we were hiring a car, I wanted to have the excess cover rather than pay exorbitant fees to the hire car company. I chose Insure & Go after researching comparable travel insurances by competitors. Main reason I chose it is because it offered everything everyone else does (with same or higher insurance limits in all cases) PLUS it was the only insurer who didn’t have an age limit on covering an healthy elderly close relative in the event of their sudden death cancelling my travel plans. Show details ·  1

Wouldn’t use them again that’s for sure , put in 2 claims that we thought were both going to be paid ,one was for missed accommodation due to a cancelled flight, no sorry we won’t pay that & the second was for a medical issue due to medication getting frozen in a faulty fridge sorry we won’t pay that, did finally pay the second after a massive fight with them . I must say the price was competitive hence i bought it but i didn't realise when it comes to claims there is a lack of communication. i submitted my claim and only get reply’s after a week for more documentation and then another week or 2 before the next communication for more documentation. from claim to approval took about 6 weeks. i will not recommend them if you want to have your money back in a reasonable time frame. Show details

For over 20 years I used travel insurance cover provided by the Platinum Rewards credit card from my bank but as they are withdrawing that from December this year I was forced to search elsewhere. Unlimited overseas medical, including emergency evacuation back to Australia when medically necessary. Extras the cheaper policies left out: travel delay, delayed baggage, passport replacement, rental car excess cover, hospital cash and loss of income.

I haven’t made a claim yet, so this reflects the purchase and the policy terms, not claims service. I’ll update this review after the trip.
