i have always used 1coer and never had a problem, even when I had to claim, all to easy. I have use 1cover for 8 trips in the last 10 years.

Great value, easy to contact if anything were to go wrong. This is my 5th time using 1cover and just about to use them again. All my friends use 1Cover too.
multiple claims, multiple excess
I didn't like that I had to make multiple claims meaning that excess was taken out of my return multiple times. I figured the $200 excess was $200 only not $200 x how many claims you make. I've never actually had to make a travel insurance claim so lesson learnt.

I think my title says it all. Compared to my health insurance company and other 'big' companies, this was so inexpensive. It's great to travel with this kind of security.

My family have been using 1 Cover for years....and wouldn't use anyone else. Very easy to set up - and good value for money. I have lost count of how many times we have used....and just about to use again :) - Highly recommend to all my friends/family - who have also used.
Good value travel insurance
It has been quite a few years since we used 1 cover as they had previously required medical certificates to cover pre existing medical conditions. Now that they have a self assessment medical section on the website it is a lot easier to apply for travel insurance [although the older you get the more expensive the cover will be]. The website was easy to follow so we shall use 1 cover again in the future as they have a good reputation from people we know that have used them before to obtain cover.

Peace of Mind Cover
My mother and I recently travelled to Tasmania on a Cruise, it was great to know we had cover if air lifted from our Ship unexpectedly. I didnt relise that although I was only traveling to Tasmania Australia that my health insurance wouldn't cover this. Thank you 1 Cover

Your online application could be easier to navigate.
It wasn't clear whether I was only covered for the actual cruise or from when I left home, as with my other insurers.
My insured dates were from leaving home to return, which in fact was 6 days longer than the cruise dates.

2 Months ago, I hit a kangaroo in evening when I was driving a rental car. After accident, the Herzt charged me a high excess fee. I asking some question to Herzt, they almost never have any response until email them twice or third. High excess fee is the profit to them as I know, why they still look like unhappy? However the 1Cover' attitude warmed me, and they paid quickly once I have claimed.
I will buy 1Cover Travel Insurance continued, I trust them.
Peace of mind - value plus
1Cover Travel Insurance - I've used their Annual Multi Trip cover for the past 4 years and found it the most cost effective policy for my needs. Travelling several times a year, and mostly for 4 to 5 weeks at a time. Although I've never made a claim, their premiums are the best for the longer holidays over 30 days. For Worldwide cover (not including optional approx $50 for Americas), for about $570 a couple, and covers all medical costs and car rental excess cover up to $5K. This alone saves $100's when hiring a car in Europe/UK.

I've been using 1Cover annual frequent cover 90 days for about 4 years now and for the first time have had to put in a claim when my flight was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. I had to pay for accomodation and meals as the airline only covered for one day. When it happened, we rang 1cover and they advised to get a letter from the airline and to keep all receipts etc. Upon my return, we used the online claim form and attached all the documents required (Airline letter, original tickets, amended tickets, Hotel receipts, food receipts etc) and emailed it. I received a letter confirming the refund within 24 hours less the excess. I travel a few times a year sometimes for long periods. The annual cover is perfect as it covers for myself and husband even if we don't travel together and includes children under 21 years of age as long as they travel with either parent. It covers you for a year as long as each trip is no longer than 90days. It's excellent value for money and now with this claim and the quick service provided, can say, its more than worth it.
Have always used 1Cover travel insurance, would highly recommend them. Never had a problem with claims, always quick and efficient with processing. Have used them for over 10 years and have been very satisfied.

I was quite disappointed with the service. I was on an overseas holiday and my bag was damaged on an airline and my phone screen was damaged. I believe as this is the one holiday it should have been covered under the one excess however I was told that I would be charged two separate excesses as they are two different incidents. This seems ridiculous to me as it was the one trip and I had evidence to prove this. Will really make me second guess your service in the future as your policy is poor.
