My iPhone was water damaged and when I called about making a claim they said it is not covered for that. I also read in their policy document that it's not covered for virtually any other damage to a phone, (Cracked screen, etc.) They have so many exclusions that they can avoid paying for almost any scenario. I hope that if I had a medical emergency that they don't treat it it in the same manner.

Heading away on a ski holiday with my son I neeed to know we were well covered. 1Cover provided a simple language policy coving us for everything we needed.
The website is easy to use, the policy summary is comprehensive but all in one page, the SMS check up too see if we needed to extend was very clever.
Will use again for sure, great value for peace of mind.

Useless cover

Read the pds. Our flight was cancelled on Christmas by the airline, we subsequently lost one night accommodation abroad ($650). 1 Cover was unable to reimburse because Section 13. Cancellations and lost deposits of the PDS states that "we will not pay if cancellations and lost deposits arise because of: (g) Cancellations, delays or rescheduling by a bus line, airline, shipping line or rail authority".

Have used 1Cover many times as thought they were top of the pops, might as well use Woolies next time for a cheaper price

Sensational Service with my claim.

I have used 1Cover for my cruise, domestic and international travel for the past 5 years due to their competitively priced yet comprehensive cover. I have never lodged a claim before, until December this year. I lodged the claim on 19 December and received notification that it has been approved and payment will be made, within 7 days, INCLUDING Christmas! I ensured I provided all documents required for the claim to be assessed and 1Cover did not attempt to delay or reduce the claim - they were FANTASTIC! I will never use another company after receiving such exceptional service, especially in our circumstances.

Don,t bother trying to claim

It is always easy to buy a cover . They were very quick to take my money.I took a comprehensive cover with the cruise option . While on board I fell into the ocean transferring to a tender .My iPhone was in my pocket and ruined . Just got told they don't cover water damage .......you must be joking .... i am on a cruise....pretty typical of all travel insurance companies ...they just say ready the fine print on page 76 and
will always find a way to avoid paying ....

I will personally be putting my daughter into a public school overseas for a few months. Would she be covered for all medical medical expenses eg breaking arm at school, need to visit doctor ?

Im not too sure... you are best to email them and confirm it your coverage. Ive done this in the past and they have replied in reasonable time.
