Amazing! – We used Allied to move our 3 bedroom house from Hobart to Devonport. Were very efficient, accommodating and kind. Jarrod went out of his way to make sure we were settled in. Will surely use them again!

move Devport to Wynyard – move went ok but after checking I was some items missing, they were distinctive so they were noticed I have asked several times but they still say nothing was found in the container, all my boxes have been opened and check these items were not found

Lost and broken belongings and still no communication from Allied Pickfords – We moved an entire house from Cairns to Launceston including storage in Cairns and Latrobe. sorted out. The real fun began when the truck turned up. Every item that needed to go upstairs was met with great apprehension by the 2 men. They even said that our mattress would not fit up the stairs!! They left a mirror out on the footpath in the wind which of course broke and they also brought in a solid wood table with the top completely cracked and a leg detached and commented that it had been dropped. Within a week we noticed we were missing some boxes. I notified the latrobe office immediately and they said they would look and sent an insurance claim form. I spent a lot of time chasing someone to quote on the repair for our table to be told that we didn't have insurance to cover the breakage!!! They have also lost our beloved dogs ashes that we had to have put down before our move and there has been absolutely no apology or follow up on where we are at.

There was no due care with our move and they have not fulfilled their side of the agreement. I have even tried to get in touch with the head office of Allied Pickfords to get some answers but no one replies to my emails.

I would not recommend this company to anyone again which is a real shame considering the Cairns office is such a diligent and hardworking team.

Brilliant operators – 3 BDRM house move one hour to load...40 mins to destination 1.5hr to unload. All carried out in a professional manner. Can't praise them enough.  Show details ·  1

Late, late, removal date – We didn't know exactly where we were moving to right up to a few days from the arranged moving date, so all parties concerned were just a bit anxious. Do not use! – we arranged for Allieds to move some belongings from Tassie to WA. We were told it would take 3-5 weeks. After 8 Weeks we had not heard anything so i had to call them & ask where our stuff was. The girl in the Perth office i spoke to was THAT RUDE! & told us she didnt know where our stuff was. things would be there on the tuesday. but someone would call to confirm. They didnt & our stuff did not arrive. I called again to find out where our things were. They told me they would be there on the friday & that they would call at least an hour prior to delivery as my husband works nightshift he may have been asleep. On the friday the truck just rocked up with no notification as arranged. Amongst our things was a Tv which was damaged & Allied have claimed unless we saw them damage it (ie, it was dropped in front of us) we have no chance of compensation. we are now having issues with the insurance. (We were only quoted for standard insurance even though they knew our stuff was packed by ourselves)

Apparently Allieds do not believe in duty of care. I would Not use Allieds As they are rude & unprofessional, if you have a problem the will handball it from one desk to another. We can buy a new tv but the way in which the matter has been handled is disgusting they have not offered so much as an appology & the lack of contact from them during the time we were waiting for our things was completely unprofessional. 1 star is too high a rating for Allieds.

Awesome Team – We recently moved from Tasmania to Queensland and Allied Pickford were amazing. They were so accommodating of our requests and all the team both in Tassie and Queensland were extremely helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again. A pleasing experience – From the moment the packers arrived until the up-lift truck pulled out of my drive, the staff were courteous, happy and efficient. I moved from a large 4 bedroom farmhouse from rural NSW to Northwest Tasmania. I do not want to move again, but if I had to I would use Allied Pickfords.  Show details ·  1
