The single worst moving experience ever.
QLD, Sunshine CoastIf I could give 0 stars, I would. Did not wrap our stuff, broke multiple items, came via SIRVA and have tried to short change us on insurance. Absolute cowboys. Left without us signing uplift documents, left early, missed items, took items that needed to stay and were clearly marked. Full of attitude on both ends.

Allied Moving ServicesHaving my 15 boxes & 4 suitcases picked up in rural Victoria 23rd May '23, two weeks before I flew up to the Sunshine Coast Qld on 7th June.
I finally found a rental yi move in 25th Aug & arranged to get my boxes & suitcases delivered.
On arrival my 4 suitcases were missing!? Explanation was they're still looking for them!? My 15 boxes were in a bad state on delivery with holes, damage to two of my boxes at the bottom of the cartons, looking like they'd been dropped or actually drop kicked? 1) Provided a sales process that promised far more then you delivered
2) Allied did not provide appropriate oversight on the start of packing in Abu Dhabi as items were packed with out any planning and wrongly labeled etc with items missing AND SOME NOT EVEN PACKED
3) Destination Sydney not providing appropriate number of staff for unloading and helping us u pack when we are go through a majo

Allied a Big Mistake!
QLD, CairnsOur contract with Allied was a house full of furnitures, etc. from North Queensland to Brisbane.
To claim to be the CAREFUL MOVERS is way off the mark!
We had damaged furniture and lost cartons of personal property, which COULD NOT BE FOUND???
So, if you do not intend to fully insure everything you send, Good Luck!

NSW, Pemulwuy (Home Removals Office)I paid 20K for an full container international move to Australia. The far end was fine- very fast, careful, easy to deal with.
Australian end was a mess- email communications were a shambles and staff didn't know what they were talking about. Then they hit me with extra service charges 'just in case' the delivery was complex and promised to refund the charge if it was simple.

... Read morede until I took them to the consumer tribunal. At the tribunal they tried changing arguments multiple times, flat-out invented false information and pulled figures out of the air. Fortunately I had measured, photographed and documented everything, and was refunded the extra charges in full. All the problems happened at the managerial levels, not with the contractors shifting boxes. So the problem isn't with some random box moving guys (who were great to deal with), the problems are built into the structure of the company itself.Do not book if you live in the CBD and/if you are female.
SAAllied got the invoice inventory incorrect for two items only. I advised one month in advance that I needed to book a lift for delivery of goods (two items, 2m squared). It was an interstate delivery that cost > $1000. I communicated the need to book a lift for delivery numerous times with the person assigned to my booking because the apartment complex is strict. I was told that they would only call me the day prior to delivery, but they gave me a window of delivery. No-one from Allied turned up in the 2hr window given to me. No-one called me.
... Read moreI called them, angry. I was told, 'oh well, we will just ask the next person to let us use the lift.' Luckily, no-one had booked the lift after me. When they did arrive, one of the delivery guys stood there with his hands on his hips, staring me down, attempting to intimidate me. I asked if they were advised that I had to book a lift? He said in a sarcastic tone that I was not the only one who is waiting for a delivery. I advised that I booked the delivery and lift a month ago. I pointed out that he was having a go at me. He replied, 'We didn't get off to a good start on the phone.' I agreed, however, I had been waiting for 2.5hrs. He scoffed at this and said he understood, his colleague laughed. I doubt they would do this with a male. I attempted to lodge a complaint with the manager. There has been no response. You will not get anywhere with a complaint. Worst Customer Service Ever
QLD, Richlands (Home Removals Office)We relocated internationally and the Customer Service from Allied Pickford's was absolutely abysmal. A consultant advised that our shipment was lodged as a shred container instead of a sole use container, which created shipping delays and then upon further enquiry, it appears that this was changed with no explanation of what had delayed our container. Our assigned "Move Management Consultant" was slow to respond, failed to request the required passport information for our shipment (creating another week of delays) did not help us get our item

Furthermore, the quote we received advised an estimate of 6 weeks delivery which was nothing like the actual 11 weeks that it has taken, and we still have no container. Communications remain terrible and I will NEVER be using Allied Pickford's again. The only positive experience we had was with the packing team in Brisbane who arrived on time, were efficient and diligent in their work and got things moving quickly.Excellent service

I wish to ship a glass fronted 100 year old clock, with two brass pendulums (removable) ( length 1 metre, width 45 centimetres) from Mandurah kWA to Cornwall UK (to nephew).
