Alpha Keri Lotion

I have been using Alpha Keri for 50 years for dry skin and even put my daughter onto it who has been using it for the last 15 years. The new product is nothing like the original and smells awful. It’s thin and dried my skin out if anything, rather than moisturising it. Very disappointed they have changed a usually excellent product. I won’t be buying Alpha Keri products again. Show details

I’ve been using the alpha keri lotion for years. The new formula is hard to rub in & does not smell nice. It’s effectively expensive sorbolene cream! Not happy at all. Won’t be buying anymore. Please bring back the old formula! Show details

I have been using the lotion for years and it was great for my psoriasis. The new formula is horrible it stinks to the point it made me feel so sick I had to have another shower to wash it off. It has also irritated my skin. Unless they change back to the old formula I will not be purchasing this again. Show details

I have been using Alpha Keri oil for 40 years. Lotion at least 10 – Alpha Keri Oil and Lotion - I have always had dry skin and it boosts moisture and stops itching. The oil is amazing in shower, bath or added to hand bowl with warm water after taking off my makeup. It's my secret weapon. So hopefully you haven't changed the formula. I love the fragrance of it too. The oil makes me feel fresh and clean and patting dry or skin is worthwhile. Show details

perfumed. One of the primary reasons I (and many others) bought this lotion for decades was because it wasn't a perfumed body lotion. I do not want artificial fragrance on my skin. 2. The consistency is completely wrong. It is now light and thin. It has entirely lost the signature richness that made it so enriching and effective.

It is hard to comprehend how a brand could deviate this far from a highly successful, long-term formula that loyal customers relied on. I am deeply disappointed and will have to look elsewhere.

I’ve been a huge fan of Aphla Keri moisturising lotion for years, using it on my face and body. People often complement my completion (I’m in my 40’s), even my 20 something work colleagues - until now! The new formula is terrible. Within days of using it I broke out in angry pimples. have stopped using the lotion because we’re concerned it’s causing skin irritation. I really wish the original formula had been kept, as there was nothing wrong with it. Sadly, we’ll now have to look for a different product for our family. I hope the company considers bringing back the original formula.

Alpha Keri Lotion not the same! – I have bad allergies, my only relief was your original alhpakeri lotion, when it changed my eyes swelled and face peeled and had horrible rash, I purchased all the original bottles in town(which has lasted 2 years). The new original lotion you have brought out has given me the same reaction. I have used this product for 35 years, I am distraught.

Hate the fragrant lotion – I have an an allergy to fragrance and was horrified to learn that the ingredients of Keri has changed to uncle fragrance. If I had of known of the addition of fragrance I wouldn't have spent 17 aud on a new bottle. What a waste of money.

Dissapointed in change – I've been using Keri since 1969 when they gave it to you in the hospital after your child was born. With the new Fragrance I have to quit. So sad.

Have been using Alpha Keri for over 25years – On 24th Feb 2017, I purchased a new 1ltr bottle as I use this everyday as my body cream. Did not realise that you have changed it and added FRAGRANCE (Parfum) and altered the ingredients!!! Not Happy!! will now have to find another product to use! Disappointed! Do not like Fragrance in my body cream, it smells awful.

Thank you, thank you, thank you – You have given me back my Keri Lotion I used for 22 years. I read in one of your reviews you have put it back on the shelf, so went today & bought two bottles just in case you run out. I tried so many brands & hated them all, nothing makes your skin feel & look as nice as Keri lotion.Please don't do that to me again.

Sad of change – I can't believe you have changed the lotion have used for 20 years... the new lotion is not nearly the same so have changed to another product... why would you change something that works well to a product that is simply not the same???

Bring back the old alpha keri! – I was so disappointed with the changes made to this product. I used to love the fragrance & texture but the new product is terrible. They've lost a loyal customer.

We have reviewed all complaints and have now gone back to the old formula with the Fragrance in the product for the Alpha Keri Lotion and Alpha Keri Oil.

These should start to appear in store by the Middle of September.

It will still be in the same new packaging, however it will have an original formulation label on the front.

We really value all our customers and thank you for letting us know.

Old Alpha Keri Lotion – I still wanted the Old Alpha Keri Lotion. I love the smell of it so much and keeps reminding me that my youngest daughter is still baby every time I used it on her. But now it's completely different. I can't smell the baby in her anymore with the new packaging :(

New packaging – I have just opened my new bottle of Alpha Keri Lotion and what a disappointment. I have been using this product put for around 20 years and have always been very happy with this product BUT what have you done. I found the new product very runny and must ask why did you change the consistency. Is it to increase your profit WHY?? I will not buy another bottle form now on I will source another product. Every family member has complained – I agree with other dissatisfied customers on this site. Changing the formula on this product was a mistake. My entire family (without me saying a word), all said "Yuk, this has changed. It stinks!".

whole body everyday after a shower but I am very disappointed in the new formula. It stinks like chlorine to me, it doesn't have that beautiful smell the old formula had. And it doesn't make my skin feel nice and refreshed and moisturised all day long like the old lotion. I suffer from psoriasis which I developed when I was pregnant with my first child and I've had it since and the old lotion would leave me feeling fresh and not itchy at all and would last till my next shower. The new formula doesn't do that at all. Half way through the day I find my skin feeling dry and starting to get itchy and by the end of the day my skin looks like all the moisture has been sucked out of it instead of looking moisturised like it should. I've been patient hoping that someday soon I will walk into the chemist and the old lotion is back on the shelf but I think my hopes have been crushed. I've looked everywhere online to buy the old lotion with no luck. I will be patient for another month or two and keep using the new bad smelling dry lotion but after that I am looking for a new moisturiser of a different brand. I just don't know if anything will ever compare to the old alpha keri lotion. I am devastated.

Fantastic moisturising lotion cant be without it – I think the new Alpha Keri skin moisture boost lotion is fantastic. Love the fact that the lotion is fragrance free and it feels light and at the same time is very hydrating. I use the lotion on my face neck and legs and it takes away the redness and dryness on my very sensitive skin. Best moisturiser I have ever used. Thank you Alpha Keri

the original formula but from now on I would tell them not to waste their money, might as well but sorbolene, that's what it feels like now, useless!!! Not a happy customer and won't be wasting my money anymore on your lotion until it's back to the original formula. Really hope someone from Alpha Keri listens.

Why change the formula to something so inferior! – It was a wonderful moisturiser, and they have changed it to be so inferior! It was fantastic, now it's horrid - nowhere near how good it was. I will never buy this again.
