Not bad but – Would benefit from another layer wire rack. If you put 4 frozen hash browns in, once they defrost to cook they lay over 1 another & if you try to turn them they break. If pieces of food lay over one another the covered section takes longer to cook so can only do few pieces at a time. Great Airfryer just wish it had a bit more space – The Air Fryer is easy to use and a great addition to our kitchen. I usually make potatoes in the air fryer or frozen food. No waiting for the oven to pre-heat. The base gets really oily when I used oil once so I will never do that again

Have been using the machine for 2 wks & it already fails to work properly. Keeps coming up with e1 and stops – Keeps stopping with e1 message on display after only having it for 2 weeks . Extremely happy with air fryer – We have been reluctant to purchase an air fryer but we are so pleased we have done so! Failed after three months – This product was really great, I used it often. Before yesterday I would have given it 5 stars, but last night it gave up in the middle of cooking chips. Despite my pleas and incantations it remains lifeless. There are no repairs or replacements so it will be going back for a refund.  Show details

What a purchase! – This is the $50 kitchen game changer. Like their K-Fee coffee machine system which beats the pants of Clooney’s Nespresso machine. The ALDI air fryer is functional, attractive and works so well. Perhaps give the food an extra couple of minutes or an extra 5 degrees to get the desired crispness. Excellent product – It makes our cooking life much easier and healthier! Use it frequently saves time too. Died in the first month – After falling in love the love affair was over too soon.I was really pleased with the results. I was using it constantly testing all sorts of suggested recipes with great results. I found it easy to clean and operate until I plugged it in to turn it on and alas it would no longer power up. After 3 months it just died while cooking so I took it back and got a refund, bought 1 from kmart same price and I think it works better...

Needs accurate cooking times and temps – Getting the food cooked perfectly is hard to do with the air fryer. The air fryer sometimes overcooks fries, and sometimes the fries are cooked unevenly, requiring some fries or potato to be cooked for longer, even when I follow the prescibed cooking time and temperature. It was also hard to find out how to remove the pan from the metal basket in order to clean food juices.  Show details

for the use and cleaning , could not be easier. The digital screen is easy to decipher all that is needed is push of a button. Cleaning could not be easier , just wipe out both basket and pan with paper towel and its done.

Finally to end we have purchased a few household appliances and power tools from Aldi Stores and have never had a problem with any that required me to return for refund.

Would work well for 1 person – Purchased this air fryer with the aim to make healthier choices for my family. Whilst it worked well the basket was extremely small and i had to do several batches to feed my 2 kids. Would be great for someone living on their own but would look for something with a larger capacity if cooking for a family.  Show details

Dose so much more than just chips – Ever so happy with us buying this product. We started just with just cooking chips but now we have done loads of different foods and even cake all tast very yummy! Not my cup of tea – Bought Aldi fryer on promotional best buy price of $99. Tried making fries, chicken and other stuff but didn't like at all. High power consuming, hard to maintain and clean, meals didn't get fried properly. Even they got stick to the grill and doesn't cook properly from all side. Better than expected – I stacked multiple frozen foods on top of each other and after the completion, all the foods tasted the same as it was all crispy. Product has a timer as well so it will stop automatically. It can be quite loud so I suggest placing somewhere where you cannot hear it.  Show details

they've all come out amazing. The only thing I've found that doesn't come out so well are crumbed foods, such as chicken schnitzel or KFC style fried chicken. I think part of the flavour of those dishes comes from the oil, so an air-fryer isn't the way to go. Still, a highly recommended purchase, particularly if you want to cook something fast and without keeping an eye on it.

Great fryer for the price – The fryer cooks everything very well. Whilst it's not large it's a great fryer for the Single or couple or any one wanting to make an easy snack with out the hassle of pre heating an oven. Power is a bit on the low side, takes longer time to cook compared to a phillip airfryer. 2. Good product working fine – I was not sure before buying Ambiano (Aldi) Digital Air Fryer. But this product turned out to be of very good quality. A bit small in size but the cooking results of this was amazing, would only need a few minutes and the quality of the product was amazing. Excellent product for disabled – this product cooks simple oven food (i.e. frozen chips, fish fingers, chicken nuggets) super quick and crunchy (with no extra oil) however cooking "thicker" oven food (i.e. pies, meat) it cooks the outside of the food item, but the inside is frozen/cold. as I have a disability that affects the dexterity of my hands this is a far safer option than a conventional oven tray.

Perfect for small meal portions – I bought this on impulse but I have used it many times per week since. I have not used it for meat but all forms of potatoes, battered, crumbed and pastry have come out perfectly. spinach or cheese pies in about 15 minutes. It is unable to cook food which has been stacked on top of each other, so when I tried 4 steak pieces, I had to open the airfryer and turn/rotate the pieces in order to get the bottom pieces on top. I have also baked a small free range chicken, but again had to turn and cut the chicken in order to get it cooked through and it took a long time to cook. The non-stick surface has also come off. In retrospect, should have saved up and purchased the branded product.

Just a very ineffective and VERY tiny oven, not a 'fryer' – Bought this a month or two ago; tried to cook (Aldi) frozen hash browns - they took way longer than they would have in the normal oven, and they stuck together, meaning they looking hideous by the time they were served. Returned it for a refund after trying it out 3 times. I have never used such a useless appliance in my life - there is nothing 'fryer' about it. They kept my receipt when I returned it, so I can't verifying this purchase. If you have an oven, forget using one of these - or if you really want something smaller than an oven, get one of the 'easycook' style benchtop ovens, for a fraction of the price - they are much more effective.
