Slimy scumbags !!! – These fools did not give any date for stopping their services, and lost internet for 3 days in June and 2 days in July. Their useless service was so bad that I could not even see my usage statistics on their web site !!! I am moving to other ISP services. They recommended two ISP providers but when I did internet search about them, they were… Read more
the very worst possible. Telstra and Optus have really bad reputation but these two were even worse !!!
Company disappeared – I have been with Amnet for 10 years and have recently had issues with my internet so have tried to get in contact to fix them. That's when I found out they are now being managed by iPrimus (who can't help with anything Ament related, they can only sign you up with iPrimus) and I can't speak to anyone who works for Amnet? They aren't responding to… Read more
multiple emails, messages on Facebook or answering phone calls, I am unable to cancel my subscription online or with iPrimus and I'm being charged for a service I don't use and can't cancel? THEFT
NO INTERNET. NO EXPLANATION? – I have just found out Amnet is now part of Iprimus.Arrived home on 14th Sept to find that we have no internet. Rang Amnet and are transferred to Iprimus. The person i spoke too, could offer no explanation except that I should switch over to them on a 24month contract." NOT LIKELY " I had to travel back to my work site 160K to retrieve a 4g… Read more
wireless Telstra unit i have in order to receive emails etc. and to try and work out what was wrong. So...... I will try and ring Amnet on monday for an explanation and If my payments are coming out of my account, next one is due 25th sept, how am i to transfer money to the account with no internet. Might be with a "MATE" by then. Amnet has been a good provider and am sorry to see them go. The one star is not for the past service but the present under Iprimus.
The best I've ever dealt with! – Besides the fact that I get 100 gigs for only $50 a month on a NAKED DSL, they have the BEST & most understanding customer service ever! There has not been a time that they have not helped me in any possible way! I can't thank them enough! :) Show details
RIP Amnet. You were the best – Still have 4 months left to go on my 24 month ADSL2+ contract with Amnet and they just told me they're happy to waive early cancellation penalties to let me go to NBN on another provider (which just became available in my area, but not from them). Legends. They've been a pleasure to deal with for the last two years - local support with… Read more
technicians who really know their stuff, reliable connection (I had some trouble with the Telstra line in my apartment building which they helped diagnose, but I can't think of a single instance where an outage occurred at their end), and friendly service.
So this is my eulogy to Amnet - I just found out on the phone that they're being absorbed into iPrimus and it's a real shame. The way things go in ISP land is that excellent small-scale operators are eventually swallowed up by big fish, and inevitably the quality of support and service plummets as part of that process (ala Westnet, Internode, iiNet, etc...)
Cheers Amnet. It's been good.
Amnet Robbery – We moved from Amnet ADSL to Internode NBN in May last year. Internode were actually pretty good and (with only minor delays) we were up and running. I actually thought we'd made the NBN transition without a horror story to show for it.... No such luck. Amnet our original supplier kept billing us for the ADSL service we weren't using. More than… Read more
$600 out of pocket, I rang and ended up on the phone to Daniel who started with "We can't refund you" and ended with "I'll offer 1 month" and "I wont refund you". I have a second service with them, and made it clear what was going to happen....... Bad business Amnet!
