Customer service is something often overlooked when considering an internet provider yet it is possibly the most essential feature needed in a pinch, which can happen anytime with anything technology related. Have been with Launtel for nearly two years and in that short period of time they've helped me sort out three moves (incl an interstate) and have had me up and running and connected stat.

Launtel offers great customisation and their daily cost billing, which allows me to pause anytime I don't need the internet, provides maximum control. Their cost are a little over $15/mth more than the cheapest competitor for the plan I'm on but I've been with economical providers before for decades and have been left in the lurch many, MANY times. Never again. After the Launtel experience, I can't ever think of looking elsewhere. Reliability, customisation AND great customer service? What a dream come true! Never knew I needed it till now. After spending weeks google searching "best deal" "most reliable" and other key words in search for a new internet provider (because optus had wronged me for the last time) I ended up deep in a reddit forum and Launtel kept coming up, I had never heard of them but people who commented with internet service abbreviations I had to look up said they were solid so I have them a go and in less than 30minutes I had a new service. I only stumbled across Launtel in the past few days as an Opticomm provider here in an estate in Brisbane. The great thing is, it's pay as you go. Matthew C was very helpful on online chat as I wasn't sure how this PAYG type internet worked. I was previously with another Opticomm provider and was always suffering random dropouts, even though my neighbours who are also on Opticomm and with different providers weren't suffering the dropouts. Launtel were amazing advocates for us when we discovered we were the victims of poor workmanship (blockage in our nbn conduit + removed drawstring). They spent hours writing and calling on our behalf, and talking through each step with me. There was never any sense that our case was becoming too difficult or of being hurried up. Thanks for getting in touch. We should be able to get the device working, I'm not 100% but Exetel rarely lock their equipment. Depending on how well it's running it might be worth upgrading but we're happy to have a go with the ZTE!
Good day, my property has the NBN device (fibre box) installed. I have checked on launtel website my address has NBN available. What's next for me? Do I need to buy a separate NBN-supported router and connect it to Fibre box or just a Wifi access point?
